Jim Carrey’s Kidding is on its way to deliver another season of mind-boggling drama and anti-comedy. The die-hard fans of the comedy legend Jim Carrey are longing for Kidding Season 2 from a quite long time. And recently, Showtime released the first trailer for the upcoming season, featuring Jim as fan-favorite, Mr. Pickles.
The debut season of Kidding received quite positive reviews from the audience and the critics as well. Kidding is a dark comedy of Showtime and revolves around Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles. The guy is all happy and lit up personality on screen, but actually is a depressed entity and is going through a personal crisis following the death of one of his sons.
Kidding Season 2: Trailer Featuring Ariana Grande
The trailer for the second season of Kidding recently released. The clip featured Jim Carrey all fizzled up. He also has launched a new line of dolls as a way to connect more with his young audience.

Not just this, the trailer also featured a brief cameo of Ariana Grande. She appears in a green fairy costume along with giant half-cut pickle wings. It seems like the outfit is taken from Carrey’s character, Mr. Pickles. The pop sensation will also deliver a singing performance for the audience in the second season.
Jim Carrey in Los Angeles Only For Kidding
At the recent running Television Critics Association Panel, Jim Carrey answered some questions related to his personal life. When asked about where he stands of having meaningful, interesting, and satisfying experiences, the star replied that he couldn’t be in a better place. Though later, the questioner got mildly scolded as Carrey cleared that he didn’t say he was in a good place, for him, the work was satisfying. He also has all the shit like everybody as well.
Carrey also stated that he’d rather be home in Hawaii than in Los Angeles, but this is where he needs to be to do Kidding. He also appreciated the role he is playing in Kidding as, “It is the role of a lifetime, no other place that’s better for me to be, except Hawaii,” Carrey added later.
Kidding Season 2: Plot Details
The second season of the series will pick up from where the first season has left off. As the beloved Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Time gets off the air for the first time in thirty years, famous children television star Jeff Pickles (Jim Carrey) tries to reach back to the children all around the world. He creates a new yet controversial method to talk directly to children across the globe. However, with this, he becomes the target of hatred for the first time in his career.
At TCA’s pannel, show-runner Dave Holstein and Carrey, both stated that the second season would show more of the light at the end of the tunnel for the show’s characters. Holstein also added that Kidding Season 2 would also feature more puppets, more songs, and more hopefulness.
