Last Man Standing Season 8 is going to be back soon for the beloved fans. The show received renewal for the eighth season in April 2018 by FOX. The audience has been waiting for a long time for the return of the family drama.
Created by Jack Burditt, Last Man Standing is a family sitcom of ABC. The show features Tim Allen as a senior employee of a sporting goods store in Denver, Colorado, a married father of three daughters and a grandfather to his oldest daughter’s son, Boyd.
Last Man Standing Season 8 will be the second run of the show on FOX. The show was initially owned by ABC but got canceled after six incredible seasons. To that, the fans of the show went all furious and started petitioning for the renewal of the seventh season. And fortunately, FOX came in as a savior and renewed the show. At that time, Allen released a statement in which he described just how thrilled he was that his show gets to live on.
Last Man Standing Season 8: Promo Out Now
The second teaser for the eighth season of the series released recently. The teaser-trailer featured the return of Mike Baxter. However, he is no more refined, informed, or enlightened than he was before. He’s that same conservative family man that audiences have embraced for the last seven seasons. Season 8 is going to give the audience a chance to see the next phase of the Baxter family’s lives.

Another promo for the upcoming season of Last Man Standing also released during the World Series. Travis caught the attention and wrote, “Saw this tonight during the game and am SOOOO excited to show everyone what we’ve been up to!” Allen also reacted to the same news as, “did I see this on the world series??? who knew.”
Cast Returning For Last Man Standing Season 8
The main cast from the previous season will surely return for the upcoming season of the series. That includes Nancy Travis as Vanessa, Amanda Fuller as Kristin, Molly McCook as Mandy, Jonathan Adams as Chuck, Krista Marie Yu as Jen, and Tim as the patriarch, Mike, Kaitlyn Dever as middle daughter Eve, Susan Sullivan as Vanessa’s mom Bonnie, Tisha Campbell as Chuck’s wife Carol, Bill Engvall as Reverend Paul and Jay Leno as Outdoor Man mechanic Joe.

In late October, it was announced that Last Man Standing would return on January 2, 2020. However, the fans were a little disheartened, as the show did not receive the fall premiere by FOX. Although the stars of the show, including Allen, Nancy Travis, and Jet Jurgensmeyer, tried to ensure their fans that Season 8 will bring a hell lot more than expected.
