Legacies Season 2: Josie And Landon Together, How Will Hope React To That? And More

Legacies Season 2 is about to go out on The CW. Fans are also wondering as what they can look forward for their favorite characters in the second season of Vampire Drama. The network renewed the show for the second season in January, even before the ending of the first season.
Legacies revolve around Hope Mikaelson, a 17-year-old orphan, daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, and Hayley Marshall. She is developed from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines. The first season of Legacies debuted in October 2018 and added to The CW’s shelter of supernatural high school series. The critics also appreciated the show for its fast pace and entertaining storyline. Legacies Season 2 is just days away from its premiere, and fans are waiting to return to Salvator School of the Young and Gifted, again.

Josie and Landon Up For Something

It seems like people are happy even when Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) is not there in their lives. She heroically sacrificed herself to destroy Malivore in the end moments of the first season. However, as a major consequence, no one remembers that Hope existed. Everyone at Salvatore School has no idea that she is no more. Even her boyfriend, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi), is all happy and joyous and looks all set to be with someone else. For that purpose, he stayed all summer hanging out with Josie (Kaylee Bryant).
Kaylee also discussed this plot-line in an interview with TV Guide. According to her, Landon and Josie are the last two that have stayed behind at the Salvatore School over the summer. Also, this is for the first time that they have entirely nothing to do, no monsters, sister, problems, just the two of them. Therefore, they will interact and bond, she added.

Hope on the Love Situation

The lead of the show, Danielle Rose Rusell, also talked about this love situation between Landon and Josie. Though people forgot her, she did not forget them. She is still in love with Landon, and it seems that Hope would not react to Landon and Josie well at all. To that, Danielle said that it’s been interesting because with Hope going into Malivore, it allowed them to do many different things with the show, and that gave them an actual, valid reason to do that. She also added that it would be amazing to explore different love dynamics and relationships in the upcoming season.

New Interest For MG

The first season saw the equivalent of fan-favorite, Stefan in MG. MG is the friendly boy vampire, who has a crush on Lizzie. However, a new-old vampire will throw him under the bus. Sebastian is teased as a really old vampire with old ideas and will likely be a love interest for Lizzie. But, it looks like MG will move on from Lizzie as he will get a new interest in the second season. Ebboney Wilson has joined the cast as Kym. She is a fearless, confident, and a sexy human girl whose meet with MG leaves her curious to know more about his world.

The Originals Reunion

Yes, you read right! The upcoming season of Legacies will feature an old cast member from The Originals. Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) will feature in the sixth episode of the forthcoming season. Though there has not been any update about her visit. However, she may have come back to reunite with her niece Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell).

Legacies Season 2: Trailer Released

In mid-September, the trailer for the second season of Legacies released. As per the trailer, Season 2 is picked up several months after Hope sacrificed herself by diving into the Malivore pit. The clip featured Professor Vardemus (Angel’s Alexis Denisof), as well. He has taken over Alaric Saltzman and became the new headmaster of the Salvatore School of the Young and Gifted. The 30-seconds trailer teased that the upcoming season is much darker than the previous one.
