Lost In Space Season 2: Teaser Released


The teaser for the upcoming season of Lost In Space got out at this year’s New York Comic-Con. It featured Will, very well determined to find his Robot. The clip delved the audience in an outer weird oceanic world where the Robinson family is stuck. There, they are searching for their old friend, the Robot, who helped them find their way on the new planet in the first season. The teaser trailer also featured glimpses of Dr. Smith and Don West (Ignacio Serricchio).

In the teaser only, the audience saw a new unnamed character. The character is played by J.J. Feild (Captain America: The First Avenger). However, there is no certainty of him playing an ally to the Robinson family or a possible enemy. Along with him, the entire main cast is returning for the sophomore run. That includes Toby Stephens as John Robinson, Molly Parker as Maureen Robinson, Taylor Russell as Judy Robinson, Mina Sundwall as Penny Robinson, Maxwell Jenkins as Will Robinson, Parker Posey as Dr. Smith, Brian Steele as Robot, Ignacio Serricchio as Don West, Amelia Burstyn as Diane, Douglas Hodge as Hastings.

Maxwell Jenkins on Lost In Space Season 2

In an interview, Maxwell Jenkins, who plays Will on the show, discussed his character. According to Jenkins, Will in Season 1 is very different than Will in Season 2. The audience saw him start growing up in the first season, but in season 2, they will see him becoming a completely different person. The star also stated that he has been learning ways to keep his character interesting, to keep the same heart of Will Robinson, meanwhile also change to who he is.

Lost In Space Season 2: More Like A Quest

Burk Sharpless, the executive producer, and writer of the show, also teased about the upcoming season. As he revealed, the next season of Lost in Space is more of a quest. It will be an adventure, a journey, with a plan, Sharpless added. Meanwhile, he and fellow executive producer/writer Matt Sazama said lately that they’ve mapped out a three-season story arc for Lost In Space. However, there has not been any update on season 3 renewal. Netflix would likely come upfront about it after looking through season two’s rating and viewership numbers.

The official synopsis for Season 2 of Lost In Space has been out. According to that, the Robinson Family will get stranded on a mysterious ocean planet, along with Dr. Smith and Don West. Also, Robot is gone, and don’t know where. Therefore, they will try to get back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists and also find the Robot. However, this will not be a piece of cake for them, as they need to deal with incredible weird threats and unexpected discoveries.
