Lupin Part 2: Netflix recently brought in yet another show called Lupin. The first season that was released this January left fans with a number of major questions. Would Lupin Part 2 come to answer them all? The first part did set up a plot for more story. What’s next?

What Is The Renewal Status?
While there has been no official information on whether or not Lupin Season 2 is happening, we do have some information about it. The fact that the additional episodes of the series are termed as parts and not seasons. We have some clue of what it could mean. Usually, in the case of Netflix, the shows are released in parts only when the streaming giant has ordered 12-18 episodes of the show, which are then split into two parts. A number of articles and reports have confirmed that some additional episodes for Lupin Part 2 might have been filmed.
Lupin released on Netflix this January 8 and soon climbed the top 10 list. Currently, only five episodes of the show have been released on the streaming giant. Back in December 2020, Variety had reported that ten episodes of the season had been filmed. If the report was true, there are still five episodes of the series that are yet to be released. So, we can be optimistic that Lupin Part 2 will release soon.
What Would Happen Next?
The first part of the series left all the viewers with a number of big questions. By the end, Assane was spending time with Claire and Raoul. He disappointed Claire even after promising to give up stealing. He continued to do so. Assane also bumped into a mysterious figure named Leonard, who clearly shared history with him.
However, it is yet unknown how their paths really crossed. Guédira managed to work out what was going on in the end, and Assane responded to it when he called out to him as Lupin. What would this mean? Does that mean that Assane is caught, or will he be able to get out of the tricky situation? The Lupin Part 2 will come bearing all these answers indeed.
When Will The Lupin Part 2 Release?
It is quite possible that viewers might get to see Lupin part 2 before the end of the year. Keeping in mind the release date pattern most of the split seasons follow, the parts usually release between three and six months. Netflix’s show Unsolved Mysteries is an example of this. The first part airing in July 2020, followed by a second part in October 2020. So, if Lupin follows suit, then fans can expect to see Lupin Part 2 sometime in April and July 2021.
