After seeking for long, Mindhunter Season 2 is finally on its way for fans. Less than two weeks are left for the premiere of the second season on Netflix. Also, the audience is now much more enthused about the upcoming installment, as the first teaser of the second season recently released.

Mindhunter Season 2: Teaser Out Now
The teaser for the second season of Mindhunter released recently, featuring the two FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McNally). The teaser brought in quite some questions in the minds of the audience. However, it also made the secrecy not to give away quite too much to the audience.
The clip featured the two agents investigating Ed Kemper about BTK. In the teaser, Ed says, “This person you’re after, he has an overwhelming fantasy life, fantasies of what he’s done, what he wants to do, the real world won’t even compare.” BTK is a Kansas based serial Killer who craves to bind brutally, torture and kill his victims.

Not just this, the agents also showed interviewing Charles Mason, played by Damon Herriman (Recently featured in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood).
What will happen in Mindhunter Season 2?
The second season of Mindhunter will deal with a new set of heinous criminals. The list will include Charles Manson, Dennis Rader also known as BTK or Strangler and Ed Kemper. The second season will also look through David Berkowitz, also known as Son of Sam. Ed was the one on whom the first season of the show was based.
As per the official synopsis, FBI agents Ford and Trench will further probe in the minds of those who have done the unthinkable. Also, with the help of psychologist Wendy Carr (played by Anna Torv), the two will use their groundbreaking behavioral analysis for hunting down the notorious serial killers.
Also, the second season of the series will focus on the heart-wrecking Atlanta Child Murders. The massacre saw dozens of black children, as well as adults, get kidnapped and killed from 1979 to 1981.
David Fincher Discussed The Upcoming Season
Speaking in KCRW’s The Treatment podcast, David Fincher spoke out about the possibilities of Mindhunter Season 2. Not just this, he also revealed some massive plot-detail that will come along in the forthcoming season. According to David, the second season will lean forward to a time, where talk of strangers is much more common in the mainstream.
When will Mindhunter Season 2 Premiere?
Lately, executive producer Charlize Theron also hinted the audience that the second season might premiere in August 2019. And just after some time, creator David Fincher announced the official premiere date for Mindhunter Season 2. The show is set to mark a come back on August 16, 2019, on Netflix.
