Mrs. Fletcher recently came as HBO’s new offering for the world. The show got darn good reviews from the critics and the audience. And now they are asking about its next run, Mrs. Fletcher Season 2.
Led by Kathryn Hahn, Mrs. Fletcher is a comedy miniseries of HBO. The show is based on the namesake novel by Tom Perrotta. HBO picked up the miniseries in August 2019 and landed on HBO in October. Along with Hahn as Mrs. Fletcher, the show also stars Jackson White as Brendan, Owen Teague as Julian, Brendan’s high school classmate, Cameron Boyse, as Zach, Brendan’s college roommate, Domenick Lombardozzi as George and Jen Richards as Margo.
Mrs. Fletcher Season 2: Renewal Status
As of now, the show has not received the renewal for the second season. Although, the fans are craving to hear the good news about the renewal as soon as possible. Though the show was set to be a limited series, speculations are flaring that the show might return for the second run, soon.
Leads Want Mrs. Fletcher Season 2
In an interview with Indiewire, the creator, and the lead of the show, Tom Perrotta and Kathryn Hahn discussed their views on the show’s next run. And as stated by Perrotta, the ending of the first season of Mr. Fletcher was the ending of an arc, not an end of life. “So, yes, I think there’s more room for more. One thing I learned from The Leftovers was to treat every season as if it were the last. But yes, there’s more to tell if the opportunity arises,” he added.
Hahn also reacted excitedly when asked about Season 2 of Mrs. Fletcher. According to her, there is a lot more to give out to fans, after the first season of the show. She stated as, “Of course, of course, of course. I think there’s clearly so much more plot to be told. I also feel this is a beautiful piece on its own. Also, I love this cast madly, so who knows? Clearly, there is so much more to be told.”
Mrs. Fletcher Season 2: What Will Happen?
The show follows Eve Fletcher (Kathryn Hahn) as the single mother, who is up for an all-new sexual awakening after her son Brendan gets off to school. Although, the end saw Brendan walks in on his mother at a crucial point in this awakening, as she was in the middle of a threesome. The season ended with mother and son at the front porch of their house.
Therefore, the second season will evolve the mother-son relationship between Eve and Brendan. Also, Eve would somewhat try to explore this sew thing in a proper manner.
