1. V – Wars

V Wars

Ian Somerhalder is back in Vampire Action. He is going to star in the upcoming Netflix Series named V-Wars. Ian has played the character of Vampire previously in The Vampire Diaries. V-wars is going to be a 10 episode series. Somerhalder is going to direct this series as well. The production of the series has already begun. V-wars is expected to premiere in the mid-quarter of 2019.

2. Rilakkuma and Kaoru

Netflix doesn’t want to upset the fans anime series and thus has ordered an insanely cute – Rilakkuma and Kaoru. The series storyline will follow a female character in her thirties who start sharing her house with soft toys. The journey of self-realization and happiness will be depicted in this series. Netflix dropped the Trailer for the series on November 27, 2018.

3. Dead To Me

Dead To Me is an upcoming Netflix series which will land in the genre of Black Comedy. It is created and executively produced by Liz Feldman. Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will star in the series. Dead To Me will consist of 10 episodes. The series will cover a strong friendship between a free spirit with a shocking secret and a tightly weaved widow.

Netflix has ordered a 20 episode season for No Good Nick. No Good Nick is Netflix’s another instalment in the Sitcom genre. David H. Steinberg will create the series. The series will star Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin. The show will follow a family drama. The scenario of a family changes when a person knocks their door. This person claims to be a distant relative.

5. Kingdom

This Show is going to be Netflix’s second instalment in the segment of South Korean Dramas. Kingdom is Directed by Kim Seong-hun and Written by Kim Eun-hee. The series will follow the consequences of an ill king. Also, a mysterious plague taking over land. People’s last hope is a young Prince in this challenging time. Kingdom will consist of 6 episodes. Netflix released the Trailer for the series on December 18, 2018. It is expected to premiere early in 2019.

6. What/If

What If - Blake Jenner

What/If is going to be a social thriller series. Blake Jenner is going to portray the lead character in this series. Jane Levy and Renee Zellweger will also star in the series. The series will explore the scenarios when simple, ordinary people do unacceptable deeds. Netflix has yet not confirmed the premiere date of What/If.

7. After Life

After Life

Another Black Comedy series that is going to premiere on Netflix in 2019 is After Life. Ricky Gervais will be the star, Director, Creator and Executive Producer (Along with Charlie Hanson) of After Life. After Life will follow the life of a devastated widower, who make unexpected new relations by following the “nothing to lose” procedure to life.

8. Chambers

Chambers - Uma Thurman

Chambers is going to be Netflix’s addition in the Supernatural drama segment. Netflix has ordered 10 episodes for Chambers. Uma Thurman will star in series. The series is created by Leah Rachel. The showrunner of Chambers will be Akela Cooper. The series will focus on a young patient who starts taking on evil characteristics of her heart donor.

9. The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy revolves around a dysfunctional family of superheroes. All these superheroes become united to solve the enigma of their father’s death and more. The Umbrella Academy will premiere on 15 February 2019 on Netflix.

10. Carmen Sandiego

Carmen Sandiego

Carmen Sandiego is Netflix’s contribution to the Animated Section. The show will follow the story of a master burglar. The thief uses her abilities for good. The series will star Gina Rodriguez and Finn Wolfhard as Voice Artists. It will premiere on Netflix on 18 January 2019.
