Netflix’s new drama, October Faction released the first season this January 2020. The installment left fans with many questions. Fans are already eagerly waiting for October Faction Season 2. The show is based on a comic series by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. This tv adaption is created by Damian Kindler.
The show features Tamara Taylor and J.C. MacKenzie as Deloris Allen and Fred respectively. The two are the undercover members of Presidio. The duo hunts for monsters and tries to protect their children Geoff and Viv. October Faction Season 2: Renewal Status
The first season of October Faction released this January. If we analyse Netflix’s pattern, the streaming service usually takes around six weeks before announcing renewal or cancellation. However, the streaming service hasn’t yet announced any update. We shall expect some news soon.
Talking about the reviews and the viewership, October Faction hasn’t really received great positive reviews until now. However, the comic premise has brought some binging for Netflix subscribers. But we cannot also oversee the fact that there’s been a lot of addressal about the show moving forward. So, we can hope that Netflix can renew October Season 2.
What Could Be Coming Up In October Faction Season 2?
By the end of the first season of October Faction, Alice, Viv, and Geoff’s birthday mother raise the dead using a summoning circle. However, she gets raided by Presidio. Edith then tried to recruit Viv. In the meantime, seemingly dead Fred chats with Omari, Geoff, and Viv’s birth father in limbo. Ultimately the twins finally touch hands and connect with Alice. She turns up and teams with Deloris in her mission to take down Edith. Moving forward, Maggie Allen will start in as the new head of Presidio. Season 1 of October Faction ends with something roaring and rattling in Samuel’s basement. This particular thing has gained viewers’ curiosity.
Showrunner Damian Kindler On The Upcoming Storyline
In an interview, showrunner Damian Kindler spoke about October Faction season 2. In the same interview, he revealed that in the next installment, they would explore more of the past. Especially the backstory of mysterious man-machine Dante. He said that they did not have the time in the first season to unveil the whole story. In the second season, Dante will play a significant role. He is cool and interesting. Over that, he is mysterious too. He wasn’t entirely explored in season 1, but that will happen in the second season.
Along with that, Kindler revealed that Merle Cope would be the main villain in the second season. He will be a significant part of the upcoming installment. However, it is all dependent on when and if Netflix announces October Faction Season 2
When Is The Show Coming: Release Date?
Now when will October Faction Season 2 is all dependent on when Netflix renews it! If we assume that the show is renewed soon, with all the production and post-production, it will at least take a year for everything. There is a lot of visual effects in the show. Fans can expect October Faction Season 2 to release by January 2021.
