On My Block Season 4: Happening! Cast Reveals Plot Details, Release Date & More

After making all the viewers wait for about 11 months, Netflix has finally renewed On My Block Season 4. The news about the renewal surfaced in January 2021, confirming that we will get more of the drama. Back in July 2020, reports revealed that Netflix had been actively working on new episodes of the series. However, then the COVID-19 happened, and hence the decision to renew the show also got delayed. But now that the show is renewed, what would come up next? Here is everything to know-

Netflix Announced The News With A Video

Netflix has also signed an overall deal with Lauren Lungerich. After this, she joins the growing list of talent exclusively working with Netflix. When this deal was done, the On My Block creator said in a statement that they are all thrilled to be working on On My Block and all other future projects. On January 28, 2021, Netflix renewed the show and announced this news with a video. Check out the video here. With that said, there is a piece of sad news as well. On My, Block will end with the fourth season.

On My Block Season 4: What Would Happen Next?

The third season of the show ended on a huge cliffhanger, very successfully developing the plot for the upcoming On My Block Season 4. The finale had all the viewers tripping when the show featured the two-year time jump by the end of the episode. All the favorite characters of the viewer were grown up and were making through their new lives. Now what we really expect the next season to bring is the answers about the time jump and all the events of the third season.

To be more specific, viewers can hope to find out what happened to Monse and Ceaser between now and the time jump. We might also come to know about Spooky as he is now out of the gang life. The time jump certainly shows that. On the other hand, Cesar had risen to be the head of the gang. How did that happen, though? He went on to say that viewers who had been keeping an eye on all the On My Block related news would have expected the time jump already.

When Would It Release?

The latest reports reveal that the team plans to start production for the upcoming season sometime in March 2021. This makes it very difficult for the creators to release the show this year. However, if things go well, we can expect to see more of the series in the first half of 2022.

As far as the reports are concerned, it is possible that the team would start production on March 22, and the team looks forward to completing the shooting part for On My Block Season 4 sometime in June 2021.
