Yay! After months of online protests and lots and lots of hashtags on Twitter, One Day At A Time Season 4 got the renewal. After axed by Netflix, the audience lost all their minds and flooded the entire social media for their beloved show to return. However, cable network PopTV came up as a knight in shining armor and picked up the show for its fourth run.
Show’s debutante parent streaming service, Netflix canceled the show after three seasons run last year because of its degrading ratings. To that, the fans of the show went all furious and started petitioning and protesting for the revival of the show. However, that resulted out good, as Pop TV came up and revived the show for its fourth run after four months of the cancelation. It marked the first time that a cable network had rescued a canceled streaming series.
Also, Season 4 will now premiere on a cable network. Therefore, all the 13 episodes will roll out every week on Pop TV, unlike full season landing. Moreover, it also got the legal rights for the previous seasons as well. Hence, Pop TV would air them ahead of the fourth season’s premiere.

Yesterday, at Vulture Festival, cable network Pop TV announced its one of the most important news. According to it, One Day At A Time Season 4 is set to be out in March 2020. Although the actual date is yet to come. The fans are literally going crazy now, as just months are left for the premiere of their beloved show. Season 4 will premiere on Pop TV in March, and will later repeat on CBS. That is because CBS was the home of the original series that aired over 40 years ago.

Lately, news came in that the production work for the One Day At A Time Season 4 will commence in January 2020. Gloria Calderón Kellett, the show-runner and executive producer of the show, used Twitter to announce the big news. According to the tweet, the fourth season will start filming in 2020 for its new network Pop TV. She also mentioned the dates when the filming would take place.

Pop TV President on One Day At A Time Season 4
On the same event, the Pop TV President Brad Schwartz expressed his excitement of having the show on board. While praising the show, he stated, “How amazing it is to be involved with this brilliant and culturally significant series that deals with important themes one minute while making you laugh the next.”
