After a long wait of one and a half years, Ozark Season 3 is finally arriving at the screens! Netflix previously teased us with some exciting pictures from the new season alongside a very short teaser. Fortunately, the popular streaming platform recently released the S3 official trailer as well. However, by the looks, the upcoming installment seems much more intense than we imagined. Ozark debuted back in 2017 to become one of the best crime dramas on Netflix today. Its third season is one of the most anticipated sets of episodes this year. The story of the iconic series centers around a seemingly normal family that moves to Ozarks, Missouri, after a failed money-laundering scheme. However, this does not stop them from picking up another illegal business. The Byrdes now run a drug cartel and are deep into a dirty swamp of criminal activities.

Netflix recently released the official trailer of the upcoming installment. The video stars lead actors Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as Marty and Wendy Byrde. It also features the Emmy-award winning supporting actress Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), alongside Janet McTeer as Helen Pierce. Other important cast members like Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner and Lisa Emery were also present in the video.
The third season of the successful series is set to include some new faces as well. Tom Pelphrey debuts in the trailer as Wendy’s brother Ben. The character may bring in havoc for his sister and her family. Fans also get to see some of Jessica Jones’ Jessica Frances Dukes in the role of FBI agent Maya Miller. The latest trailer of Ozark Season 3 has a lot to say about its plot. The upcoming episodes won’t be easy for the leading couple. Marty and Wendy have been facing problems in their relationship ever since the show began. However, things get worse in the third installment as Wendy intends to expand her illegal business. As expected, Marty is not ready to support his wife anymore.
In order to solve problems in their relationship, the couple consults a marriage therapist. Yet, in the earliest scenes of the trailer, Wendy loses her cool. As she points a gun at her husband, Wendy yells, “Sometimes if you don’t move forward, you die.” Well, it’s hard to believe that she will actually end up killing Marty. However, there are chances that Ozark Season 3 may not turn out to be safe for our leading man.
On the other hand, according to its official synopsis, the third run of Ozark will land us straight into the Summertime. The story of the new episodes will take a six months time leap. Hence, the Ozarks will be full of tourists and vacationers due to Summers. It will benefit the Byrdes as their business will likely get more fruitful. However, along with the guests, they may also confront some unexpected challenges.
