Ozark Season 3: Review

The latest season of Ozark is better than ever before. A lot of relationships make and break in between all the bloodshed and backstabbing. Ozark Season 3 picks up six months after the events of the previous season. With Ruth’s help, the Byrdes’ casino boat business is blooming while Marty is attempting to hide his dirty money from the FBI. Things get rough with the arrival of a new agent Maya Miller steps in.

On the other hand, Wendy’s brother Ben creates havoc in the lives of all Ozark characters. Marty and Wendy become poisonous for each other. Whereas, things become messy as Wendy’s attorney Helen Pierce plans her betrayal. With a hair-raising climax, the third season of the series gets a shocking ending that we never saw coming.

Ozark Season 4: Renewal

The third season of drama series came out just now, and fans are already anxious to know if it will return. Well, it’s currently too early to expect a renewal from the popular streamer. Netflix usually takes at least a month to wave the green flag. In the meantime, the platform will analyze the performance of the current installment.

As per the looks, Ozark Season 3 will likely perform much better this time. The newest installment is the best out of the lot. Besides, it’s also the perfect Quarantine present for viewers around the world. On the other hand, with the way S3 ended, Marty and Wendy’s story is far from over. Hence, fans don’t worry as their favorite show has sky-high chances of return.

Netflix

In fact, in a recent interview, Ozark’s showrunner expressed that they’d wish to continue the series further. When asked for an exact number, the show creator revealed that the number of seasons could vary from five to seven. Although the renewal entirely depends upon Netflix and if they’ll approve the forthcoming scripts. Yet, it doesn’t seem that the Byrdes are going anywhere for now.

What Will Happen Next?

Well, now that Helen’s out of the way forever (literally), Marty and Wendy are the only ones responsible for Navarro’s deeds. Although the almost-unbroken family is about to shatter as Jonah has lost faith in his parents. Now that he knows what his mum did to his uncle Ben, he might break out and cause mayhem for the couple.

On the other hand, Ruth has lost her faith for the Byrdes too. She won’t be dealing with the family anymore and might not be safe for them. Now that Marty and Wendy have lost their priceless asset to Darlene, they barely have any support than the head of the cartel. Well, as per the looks, Ozark Season 4 can become pretty dirty than before.

Ozark Season 3: Cast Updates

While we expect our main players to return, several important characters won’t be seen anymore. After her gruesome death in the season finale, Wendy’s attorney Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer), won’t likely be back. Similarly, Jonah’s uncle Ben (Tom Pelphrey) won’t wake from the dead either. Another dead character includes Marty and Wendy’s therapist Sue (Marylouise Burke), who Helen got killed.

While we’ll get to see some new faces, we hope Marty (Jason Bateman), Wendy (Laura Linney), Ruth (Julia Garner) and Navarro (Felix Solis) show up again. Whereas, other characters including Jonah (Skylar Gaertner), Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery), FBI Special Agent Maya Miller (Jessica Francis Dukes), and others, will also be seen.

When Will Ozark Season 4 Release?

As of now, Netflix is yet to announce the renewal of Ozark Season 4. Hence, it’s too early to ask for a premiere date. Although we hope that the fourth season does not take as long as the third one. Unfortunately, the tragic outbreak of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) disease may affect the production and release. Well, we can only hope that everything gets fine.

According to the current circumstances, new episodes of Ozark Season 4 may not debut anytime before mid to late 2020. Yet, we promise to inform you as soon as the news arrives.
