Ozark Season 4: Is It The Last Season? Everything You Need To Know

Ozark Season 4: Netflix’s original show Ozark came out with the third season recently. The season was highly anticipated and came over a year and a half since the second season came out. However, the wait was worth it. The third installment of the show was by far the most explosive season, ending included. The season, however, has left fans on their toes. The mind-twisting cliffhanger is making all fans desperate, already. The third season allowed the show to grab a pace and made it exciting. With so much more to come ahead, Here’s everything that might happen at Ozark Season 4

What Has Happened So Far?

As the third season of the series dug deep, we saw many characters taking the grip. Navarro, the Cartel leader, took over in the picture. He even developed a relationship with Wendy. All this while, Wendy and Marty’s relationship strained as they had different opinions about proceeding with a criminal enterprise. It wasn’t quite enough that Ruth Langmore started questioning her allegiance to the Byrde family. In the beginning, Helen and Wendy were great friends, but in the end, Helen was trying to figure out a way to take Bydres out of the picture.

However, Helen’s plan could not go as she wanted it to. By the final episode of season 3, Marty tried to convince the FBI to attack Navarro’s rival cartel. It was weird because, at the same time, Navarro asks her to board a plane along with Helen and Wendy. He wanted them to attend his son’s second baptism. Helen gets done with all the paperwork and decides to take over the casino. She tells Navarro that she is now ready to take per the enterprise.

In the final episode, Helen, Wendy, and Marty get out of the car. They go on to greet Navarro. But, Navarro’s henchman shoots Helen in the head. After this, Marty and Wendy stand shocked as the blood covers their faces. Just before the end, viewers get to see Navarro embracing the shocked faces and saying, “This is the beginning,” and then the third season ends.

Ozark Season 4: What Is Coming Ahead?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mundy revealed few details about Ozark Season 4. He revealed that in the first half of the season, the show was about Marty vs. Wendy and Wendy is winning. But then, there is a transition. Wendy and Helen come alliance, and then it becomes Wendy and Marty vs. Helen. He told that by the end of the season, somebody had to win. Navarro wouldn’t ever put up with something unstable and would choose a side. The last episodes of the season were tentative, and things were falling. They did not want it to stop.

Now why Navarro chose Bydres over Helen is because Marty and Wendy have proved themselves. That has made them indispensable. Mundy says that when it comes to Helen, there are more layers in the world. But, Wendy and Marty have pulled off impossibilities. One got a casino to launder, which is the holy grail of money laundering, and the second has FBI on their side. It could help him in the intervention in the drug war. That is something no one else can do.

In Ozark Season 4, we will get to see more of Wendy, Marty, and Navarro’s relationship. It will be twisted and interesting. In fact, Ozark Season 4 can be the beginning of the end. The show won’t last forever. In an interview with Collider, Bateman said that they never want Ozark to last for a decade. If his idea is of 4-5 seasons, the fourth season could start building the plot for the end.
