As expected our heroes and his gang are still live (apart from the death of the John Shelby) after the war.

Peaky Blinder Season 5: Series is all set for Three More Instalments
BBC officially confirmed after season 4 that Peaky Blinders would be returning for season 5. It’s even more exciting that Steven Knight is planning for Sixth and Seventh seasons. He said, he is aiming to make the story of the Shelby family amidst two very intense wars. Knight also said the ending of the series would be at the first air raid siren in Birmingham in 1939. Steven said he needs three more seasons to reach that point in the series. So fans can expect the series to last till three more seasons.
As of now the production of season 5 is at a fast pace, and things are getting wrapped up soon. The fan-favorite actors have been busy shooting for the upcoming episodes on the streets of Manchester. Peaky Blinders: Movie?
Fans always wanted to see the Peaky Blinders on the big screen. It was Cillian Murphy who revealed that the showrunners had some ideas about an upcoming film. Much to the surprise of the fans, Otto Bathurst gave an insight into the new development in the series.
Everything is well set up for a movie of Peaky Blinders. He said that Steve Knight is writing the script for the film and also is planning something big. Cillian also likes the idea of seeing how the show would be transitioning to the big screen. He is also curious to be the lead in the movie. Though the plot of the film is not available, it can be expected to be entirely on a whole new level. The production team is yet to state the movie’s release date. Currently, they are busy working on Season 5.

Peaky Blinders Season 5: The Show Set to air on a New Channel
Till now, fans got to see the series on BBC two but, the new season will be airing on BBC One. The Director of BBC content Charlotte Moore confirmed the Peaky Blinders airing on BBC One. He was happy with the response to the season four and the way young people are getting interested in the series. Moore said that a world-class drama like Peaky Blinders is at the top of its game and it is essential that it gets aired on the Biggest Channel of UK. He wants all the audience to get a chance to witness the Knight’s true and compelling masterpiece.
After the season 4 finale, it was officially confirmed by BBC that the show would be airing in 2019. No specific details were given about the released date. Filming of the fifth season started on October 4, 2018, and fans are expecting the release to be around summer 2019. There are also possibilities that BBC might hold it for an autumn launch. The fifth season will be directed by Anthony Byrne and will be produced by Annie Harrison-Baxter.
