Although at the end of the fourth season, show-runner Steven Knight confirmed that it would take another three series (seven in total) to complete the story up to that point. As he stated, “I have no idea when it would be out, possibly early 2021, something like this.” This is a kind of relief for the fans because now they have a set of time to wait for Season 6.

According to the reports, the filming for the sixth season of Peaky Blinders is all set to begin on February 11, 2020. Also, the filming will take place in Liverpool and Scotland again. Along with her, names like Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg and A$AP Rocky. Other than the new joining, Anabelle Wallis, who plays Tommy Shelby’s wife Grace on the show, died. Therefore there is no certainty she will or will not return for the sixth season. Though if Grace returns, she’ll likely come up in Tommy’s flashbacks and something like that.
Meanwhile, Cillian Murphy will return for the sixth season as the lead Tommy Shelby. Along with Helen McCrory will return as Elizabeth ‘Polly’ Gray. Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby. Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne. Finn Cole as Michael Gray and Sam Claflin as Sir Oswald Mosley.

Season 5 of Peaky Blinders left the audience in a massive turmoil. The fifth season ended with Tommy Shelby screaming at his dead wife, Grace. Not just this, he was at a gunpoint before the show cut out to black. Now, the fans are curious how Tommy will sum up to the entire situation? Will he give up (that is not the case for Tommy) or will stand against the one who betrayed him?

Moreover, as per the chronology, the plot is approaching close to World War 2.
