‘Preacher Season 4’ is one the most anticipated season returns of the year. Fans are delighted to hear the news of the show’s come back. AMC renewed Preacher for a fourth season last year in November 2018. Based on the cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher has been creating destruction on screens since 2015 and shows no signs of getting any less weird.
Though ‘Preacher Season 4’ is a ten episode queue, there is always a chance that it could increase. This would undoubtedly be a piece of good news for the audience. Fans can’t seem to get enough of the odd trio composed of a vampire, a criminal, and a priest playing host to a great existence.
The preacher is a wild series, the story revolves around Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) who is a criminal turned preacher in the rural area of Texas. He finds himself possessed by a supernatural force called Genesis – the seed of a demon and an angel. That powerful entity allows him to force people to submit to his instructions. This locked him up in a major battle between good versus evil. Ruth Negge is the Preacher’s hardcore girlfriend Tulip O’Hare alongside Joseph Gilgun as Irish Vampire Cassidy.
Preacher Season 4: Is Show Under Production?
At this moment, the filming of season 4 is still going on. This time, production has moved to Australia as per the TVLine report. It seems like Australia is geographically versatile enough to resemble parts of the United States. The original comic series by Garth Enis and Steve Dillon continued in the US and all the previous three seasons were filmed here only.
Preacher Season 4: What Fans Will See Next?
Season four of Preacher will pick up from where it left the fans in season 3 finale. Cassidy was taken by Herr Starr (Pip Torrens) to the Grail headquarters, Masada planning to torture him and kill Cassidy. Season three saw Jesse on a quest for God that led him back to his home, the place he’s avoiding his whole life. The trio, Jesse Tulip and Cassidy found about the violent obligations and old grudges waiting for them. All this happened when they returned to Angelville.
The finale episode saw God (Mark Harelik) rescuing Tulip and offer her a chance to rescue her family as well. On behalf of that, he asks Tulip to persuade Jesse to quit seeing him out, though she refused. Moreover, Jesse killed Marie Gran’ma (Betty Buckley) who was sided by Satan (Jason Douglas). The Saint of Killers alongside Tulip had to deal with a bunch of neo-Nazis. They were trying to rescue Hitler (Noah Taylor). However, Hitler has now taken Satan’s place in Hell as the Saint killed Satan.
Preacher Season 4 Release Date
The previous two seasons of Preacher released in June. So, it seems like season four will put its foot forward in June 2019. The show will first release in the United States on AMC. After that Amazon Prime will drop episodes the following day for the audiences around the world. If all goes to plan, the audience expects to see season four in late summer 2019. However, AMC is yet to announce a release date for Preacher Season 4.
