Preacher has become AMC’s one of the most anticipated show in the past few years. And the upcoming season of the series, Preacher Season 4 is about to make its premiere. The channel renewed the show for the fourth season last year in November 2018.
The show is based on the cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher has been creating destruction on screens since 2015 and shows no signs of getting any less weird. Being a wild series, the story revolves around Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a criminal turned preacher in the rural area of Texas.
He finds himself possessed by a supernatural force called Genesis – the seed of a demon and an angel. That powerful entity enables him to force people to submit to his instructions. This locked him up in a major destructive battle between good versus evil. Ruth Negge plays Preacher’s hardcore girlfriend Tulip O’Hare alongside Joseph Gilgun as Irish vampire Cassidy.
The network also shared its panel schedules and art stills for its several upcoming shows, including Preacher Season 4 at San Diego’s Comic-Con lately. The poster for the final season was all bloody and fired up.
Teaser Out Now
AMC has released a new 15-second teaser video for the final season of Preacher. Not just this, some stills from the upcoming season also revealed featuring the main cast members of the show. Unsurprisingly, the teaser also have the same irreverent tone as the series and the comics, which makes this first look at the final season somewhat bittersweet. The trio will embark on a quest to find God and hold him responsible for abandoning his post in Heaven.
Preacher Season 4: Plot Details
The finale episode saw God (Mark Harelik) rescuing Tulip. He also offered her a chance to save her family as well. On behalf of that, God asks Tulip to persuade Jesse to quit seeing him out, though she refused. On the other side, Jesse killed Marie Gran’ma (Betty Buckley) who was sided by Satan (Jason Douglas).
Not just this, The Saint of Killers alongside Tulip had to deal with a bunch of neo-Nazis. They were trying to rescue Hitler (Noah Taylor). However, Hitler has now taken Satan’s place in Hell as the Saint killed Satan.
The fourth season will also comprise plenty of foes for Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy to confront. The new season will reveal God’s endgame for the show’s fantastical universe. Season four of Preacher will continue from the cliffhanging finale of the third season.
Herr Starr took Cassidy to the Grail headquarters. There, Masada planning to torture him and kill Cassidy. Season three also saw Jesse on a quest for God that led him back to his home, the place he has been avoiding his whole life. Meanwhile, the trio, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy found about the violent obligations and old grudges waiting for them. All this stuff happened when they returned to Angelville.

The fourth season is officially set to premiere on AMC on August 4, 2019. After that, Amazon Prime will drop the latest episodes the following day for the audiences around the world. However, Preacher Season 4 being the final season of the series also brought in some grief for the hard-core fans of the show as well.
