The Fab Five are coming back to make our lives fabulous. In fact, the fab five redefined the definition of ‘Fab’ through the show. For all those fans who are waiting for the fifth season and looking out for what could happen in the future, here’s the good news. Queer Eye season 6 is renewed ahead of the release of season 5.

Netflix’s reality show is just around the corner. The show is a reboot of the 2003’s series, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. The show follows almost the same pattern but has a new set of Fab Five. This includes Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Bobby Berk. These five are experts of different things and travel to places to give eight different heroes to provide them with a makeover. Here is everything that you need to know about Queer Eye Season 6.

Is Queer Eye Season 6 Renewed? 

Great news! Ahead of the release of the fifth installment of the show, Netflix has renewed Queer Eye season 6. The series has completed four seasons, along with a special Japan-set run on the streamer. The fifth installment of the show concluded its filming in Philadelphia in 2019

Has The Production Started?

Another great news, and yes, the production for Queer Eye season 6 has already started. Netflix confirmed the news on Wednesday that the show is already under production in Austin, Texas. As usual, the streamers have kept details on the forthcoming installment a secret. According to the press-note, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Jonathan Van Ness are out to “scour the prairie” They are on the quest to find a new roster of heroes in need of a little TLC.

How Has The Show Been Recieved So Far? 

So far fans have recieved the show very well. The show has even recieved 91% rotten tomatoes. The show first premiered in 2018 on Netflix and was the first reality series. The success of the show paved the way for unscripted programs on the platform like “Cheer” and “Love is Blind.”

These shows have established themselves. Brown, for example, has completed 28 seasons of “Dancing with the Stars” last year. They also had a supporting role in the LGBTQ-included Valentin’s Day comedy called “The Thing About Harry” on Freeform. Porowski recently opened a restaurant called the Village Den, in New York’s west village in 2018 and published a cookbook called Antoni in the Kitchen last year.

The fab five have appeared in a music video alongside Taylor Swift “You Need to Calm Down” that released in conjunction with the LGBTQ Pride Month in June last year.

When Is Queer Eye Season 5 Coming Up? 

The exact release date for Queer Eye season 5 is not out yet. However, we know that the show will hit the screens somewhere in the summer of 2020. This time the show is taking all its fans to Philadelphia.
