Rick and Morty Season 4: All Updates From Comic-Con, Guest Stars List & More

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con brought in so many good news, and Rick and Morty Season 4 is one of them. Not just this, the fans also got lucky to see a brand new clip from the forthcoming season of the show. This adult animated science-fiction sitcom has made a massive spot in the hearts of the audience. And with its upcoming installment on its way, the fans are eager to have their favorite characters back, again.
It’s been two years since the audience last saw the classic duo, Rick and Morty. Since the release of its third season, the fans were waiting to have its next installment soon. However, took long two years to make a comeback. Rick and Morty feature the misadventures of a mad-crazy scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith. The two tries to work out both their domestic, normal life along with the inter-dimensional adventures.

First Clip at San-Diego Comic-Con

At 2019 San Diego Comic-Con panel, the creators of the series, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland released the first look of the fourth season. The clip featured a new alien intern character, Glootie, played by Taika Waititi (Director-Thor Ragnarok). The alien had made an app that created chaos all over the internet. Morty and his father Jerry are trying to take down that app from the internet. However, it seems that things are not going as planned.

Rick and Morty Season 4: Why Got Delayed?

The shoe-runner duo cleared out the scenario why the fourth season took almost two years to return. In an interview, Harmon, and Roiland stated that because of protracted contract negotiations, the show got postponed. However, the delay also leads to the deal that confirmed premiere of another 70 episodes of Rick and Morty.
Generally, each season of Rick and Morty features ten-episodes each season. With this news, it is much clear that the show will have seven more seasons ahead of this one.

Rick And Morty Season 4: Will feature four Guest Stars

The fourth season of the adult-animated series will have a ten-episodes queue. Also, this season will bring in four mega guest stars. The list includes writer-director Taika Waititi, actress-director Kathleen Turner, actor Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), and Paul Giamatti (Billions). Other than these additions, the entire voice cast of Rick and Morty is returning for the fourth season.

Rick and Marty Will Have More Seasons In Future

The creators also revealed that the show would have many seasons ahead after season four. Also, they stated that just after the completion of the fourth season, they are going to start working on the fifth season of Rick and Morty. As Harmon stated, “There were so many things that had to be resolved before we even began Season 4, and its secure to say we’re writing Season 5 literally while completing Season 4 to force ourselves to commit to a certain timetable.” Also, the two confirmed that the fifth season of the show would come much earlier than the fourth and the third season.

When Will Rick And Morty Season 4 Premiere?

There has not been any official date for the premiere of Rick and Morty Season 4. However, one of the episodes of the fourth season will premiere at Adult Swim Festival ahead of its TV screening. The episode will run from Friday, November 15 to Saturday, 16 in Los Angeles. Also, Rick and Morty Season 4 will premiere in November on Netflix. The episodes will air weekly.
