After her husband leaves her, Dan-i struggles to survive and support her daughter’s education. After being rejected by plenty of employers, she forges her qualifications and starts working as a task manager in Eun Ho’s publishing company.
Cha Eun Ho (Lee Jong-suk), an author and editor at his publication company, is Dan-i’s childhood friend and has always been in love with her. As Kang Dan-i’s situation gets worse, he offers her his house as shelter. The two start living together and gradually fall in love while hiding their relationship at the office. Alongside the leads, this beautiful series also features some of the best supporting characters ever. Fans loved that Song Hae-rin and Ji Seo-joon found each other and the fact CEO Kim and Director Go started dating. All other storylines were wrapped up pretty well as well.
Considering that all storylines and characters have got their respective closures, it would be hard for creators to produce a sequel. In order to expand the story for Romance Is A Bonus Book Season 2, they will have to introduce new characters around the Dani-i and Eun Ho.
