Schitt's Creek Season 6: Teaser, Why Season 6 The Final Season?

The final season of family comedy-drama, Schitt’s Creek Season 6 is just days away from its premiere. And fans of the show are longing to have the Rose family back as they left in season 5. Although they are also saddened, as this reunion will take place for one last time.
Schitt’s Creek is a Canadian family comedy-drama, created by Dan and Eugene Levy. The series focuses on a wealthy Rose family, who gets broke and move to a small town named Schitt’s Creek. That town is the only asset owned by them, which was purchased as a joke.
The show debuted in 2015 on CBC Television. With the premiere itself, Schitt’s Creek has achieved quite an acclaim from the audience. Also, the series got awarded with various awards, including Primetime Emmy Award, Critics’ Choice Television Award and more.

Just recently, another short clip from the upcoming season of Schitt’s Creek arrived at its official Instagram handle. The clip featured Moira greeting the audience, as she is filming a commercial for the Schitt’s Creek town. She asks the viewers to join her for a little stroll through the slice of paradise she likes to call, the town where she currently is, Schitt’s Creek. Meanwhile, Johnny and his future son-in-law Patrick are sharing a bonding time together while watching TV.
Moreover, David enters at a wrong time in Alexis’ room, in the middle of an intimate moment. And lastly ended with Moira slapping an unknown right at his face. The clip made sure that the forthcoming season is going to be a huge blast, with lots of surprises and excitement.

Why Schitt’s Creek Season 6 Being The Final Season?

Just this year, the streaming giant Netflix took up the series. This gave Schitt’s Creek all new and enlarged fan base. Still, the show is wrapping up with its sixth season in the upcoming year. Co-creator Dan Levy announced in March that the series would end with Season 6. However, he also clarifies his reason for ending the show in an interview with E! News.

As Dan made clear, he didn’t want to push the show past its expiry date for the sake of another season. He also added that he cares too much about his viewers and about the characters to risk taking them farther than need to be taken. Therefore, it was always planned that this was going to be the end, Dan confirmed. Although, the news made the fans all sad and in grief, as their favorite sitcom is coming to an end.

The final run of Schitt’s Creek is all set to be out on January 7, 2020, on CBC and Pop TV. Fans of the show are in bittersweet emotions as they are excited to have the next season of the show.
