Chrishell Stause called Netflix’s words on Selling Sunset Season 4 the “worst-kept secret there’s ever been” in the history of Netflix. The hit real estate reality show has been part of Netflix’s family since 2019, and it has seen many seen ups and downs throughout the years. But the last season created grudges between the cast members, which hopefully will sort out in the upcoming season. However, Mary Fitzgerald teased that things will be “quite awkward” among the cast.
Selling Sunset centers on Oppenheim Group, an elite real estate brokerage organization in Los Angeles. The series focuses on the group of agents working in the Oppenheim Group and how they navigate their professional and personal lives. But the most recent season saw tensions between the cast, including Davina Potratz, Chrishell, and Mary.
While we were speculating what the fourth season may hold, Netflix dropped the surprising news. Recently, Netflix confirmed that Selling Sunset got renewal for the fourth and fifth seasons. Soon Stause said that they already knew about Netflix’s decision as the camera is about to roll while they have been looking for their recent deals. While talking with the We Should Talk podcast, Stause said that now they could talk about the upcoming season as they have been waiting for so long to open up on their deals.
Selling Sunset Season 4: Who Will Be In The Cast?
Despite the feud, the main cast members will return for the next run of Selling Sunset. These include Brett and Jason Oppenheim, Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, and Mary Fitzgerald. Besides them, Heather Rae Young, Romain Bonnet, and Amanza Smith will also return. As well as Davina Potratz and Maya Vander will return. Though Davina left the Oppenheim group in the finale, yet Netflix confirmed that she will return.
But Davina’s return might bring some complication between the cast. As Mary shared in the interview, after the massive fallout in the recent finale, Quin and Davina were never seen together even though she hadn’t met them yet. So, it would turn quite awkward for them to work together in the fourth season.
Will There Be Some New Agents?
Mary has previously teased that some new agents would join The Oppenheim Group. She said that they have talked with the streamer as they want a couple of new agents. However, it hasn’t revealed who will join the team in the fourth season. But Mary ensured that all of them are girls and have been working with the group and are very successful.
Selling Sunset Season 4: What To Expect From The Next Run?
The camera is yet to roll, but as per reports, the fourth season would explore Heather’s new phase in life with her partner Tarek El Moussa. Deeming that both Quinn and Mary’s wedding featured on the series, it’s pretty possible that Heather and Tarek’s wedding would arrive next. Further, the show will never get old from Chrishell and Christine’s drama. And Maya might set up an office in Miami. So it could be an exciting storyline for the upcoming season.
Selling Sunset Season 4: When Will It Release?
Though the show got renewed for two more seasons, the release date for the fourth season is yet to announce. But Mary has recently said that the show would return on set around summer, and it takes nearly six months to finish filming. So, considering it, we can expect that Selling Sunset Season 4 would air sometime in 2022.
