With its debut back in January 2019, Netflix’s pop show took no time to win our hearts. Sex Education went on to become a fan-favorite and one of the best teen shows of the year. The sweet and simple story of the series revolves around Otis Milburn, a socially awkward high school kid. He lives with his sex therapist mom, Jean, and is largely bothered by her profession. However, his life changes as a classmate, Maeve, pushes him to start sex therapy at school.

Otis & Eric
Otis and Eric seem to be in another messy situation as they stand in the woods with a worried looks on their faces. Season 1 was crazy for the best friends with tones of blunders along the way. Well, Sex Education Season 2 seems no easier. However, Eric has now discovered his new-found confidence, which may attract unfamiliar kinds of attention next season.
New Friendships
We couldn’t have imagined Aimee and Maeve becoming BFFs this season. Their relationship developed as Aimee ditched “The Untouchables” towards the end of the first season. Surprisingly, their bond is even stronger in Sex Education Season 2. In the latest picture, the two seem to be sitting in a Police interrogation. Well, there’s nothing to worry about as the girls look pretty confident and fearless as they speak to the officer.
On the other hand, another unexpected friendship startles a large number of fans. Otis’ girlfriend, Ola, seems to have a good time with Lily. The new-found friends may an interesting bond next season. Further, Lily hits pause on her sexual endeavors. She will now focus on her creative talents instead.
Jean & Jacob’s Relationship
Season One of the popular series gave us another adorable couple. Upon promising Otis that she would keep no relations with Ola’s father, Jean finds it difficult to resist him. However, this time, their relationship is finally discovered. Jean and Jacob now have to learn how to operate as a blended family.
Adam Is Still At The Military School!
One of the sweetest moments for the debut season has to be Adam and Eric developing feelings for each other. However, it was equally sad to watch Adam leave Moordale and move to a military school instead. The latest picture confirms that he is still there in Sex Education Season 2, as well. Besides, the plot synopsis reveals that he’s still conflicted by his feelings for Eric. Will they get back with each other ever again? We hope they do.
Jackson Is Still Under Pressure
Maeve’s ex Jackson has had a difficult life to lead at home. The two lovely moms are apparently too worried about his performance. Jackson ends up being under pressure to succeed. While the pressure continues to grow, the Moordale High head boy is now forced to flex his mental, rather than physical muscle.
When Will Sex Education Season 2 Be Back On Netflix?
We’ve all been waiting to watch more of our favorite characters in Sex Education Season 2. Netflix is yet to announce a firm release date. However, since the filming is wrapped, the installment may only take a few months to return. As of now, it’s expected to premiere sometime in January 2020.
