‘Snowfall Season 3’ is all set to take us back on the journey of 1980’s drug cartels era. The show is set in the time when the first bad winds of crack and cocaine hit the streets of Los Angeles. The series got a renewal for the third season on September 19, 2018.
John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron created the crime drama series, Snowfall. After the death of Oscar-nominated director Singleton, the cast and crew members of the show are in utmost grief and sorrow. Singleton was the soul of the show; he was the co-producer, co-creator, and director of the show. Though, the team decided to continue the filming of the show to honor him, as it is the last working project of John Singleton.
Executive producer Trevor Engelson also expressed his grief on this tragic news. He stated:
Everybody is sad, but everybody also is moving forward because that’s what John would’ve wanted. He adds, It felt like the actors heard what John would’ve said, Use that real-life emotion in your performance.

Production Of The Third Season Is Completed
According to TMZ, the production work of Snowfall season 3 is almost finished and will wrap up by June. Moreover, Singleton will remain as the executive producer of the show. He will retain the posthumous credits on the show. The news came out after the lead of the show; Damson Idris paid tribute to the big icon by a post on Instagram.
Snowfall Season 3: Plot And Spoilers
Snowfall 3 will feature the summer of 1984. This is the time when the trend of crack cocaine spread like wildfire in Los Angeles. Even, the police will be aware of the spreading plague and will stand to neutralize the effect of it. Sergeant Andre Wright, played by Marcus Henderson, will keep an eye on Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), his next-door neighbor. Franklin is the future Drug Cartel.
Meanwhile, the police force will try their best to suppress all these illegal activities, which is causing thousands of deaths. Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) and his CIA team will ensure to cut out the supply of cocaine incoming in the city. In opposition of that, Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta) and Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), the drug running couple will try to exploit more this endangered business despite the new dangers involved with it.
When Will Snowfall Season 3 Release?
The release date of the Snowfall Season 3 was pre-scheduled for summer 2019. The team of Snowfall made a firm decision and continued to release the show on the same day. FX scheduled the show to release on July 10, 2019.
