YouTube Premium’s popular dance drama, Step Up: High Water Season 2 will soon hit the small screen. Inspired from the ‘Step Up’ film series, the show gathered its own audience with its entertaining premise. The first season was magnificent and received much love from fans. It was renewed for a second season back in May 2018.
Initially premiered in January 2018, the series is about the lives of the students and faculty of High Water. Based in Atlanta, it is the most competitive performing arts school in the city. It tells us the story about a pair of twins Tal and Janelle (Lauryn McClain and Petrice Jones) who relocate from Ohio. The siblings raise their dancing journey in this new city and the difficult to live in High Water.

This season, fans will see their favorite stars dance on Travis Wall’s choreography. The legend from the popular show So You Think You Can Dance, Travis, assures the viewers of an entertaining Season 2. Moreover, the famous dancer confirms the news with a behind-the-screens video of the show. Also, Travis is well-known for his brilliant dancing skills and hip-hop moves.

The well-known singer, dancer, and songwriter, Ne-Yo is contributing three songs to the show. He plays Sage Odom, the megastar entertainer, and artist on the show. The 39-year-old star wrote three original songs including “Genesis.”

According to Vents Magazine, the song “Genesis” is expected to be Sage’s opening number in Season 2. It reflects his life’s journey as he becomes a superstar. Ne-Yo’s fans are already excited for his song as he will also perform on his own song.

The second season of the is going to be incredibly thrilling with many guest stars to make appearances. Alongside Travis Wall, many other stars will also make cameos in the new installment.
