Succession Season 3 is the upcoming run of the family drama of HBO. The fans are eager to have the next run as soon as possible. This year too, the show has received five Emmy nominations and got awarded for writing. While praising the show, HBO mentioned that in today’s world where the intersection of politics and media is increasingly prevalent, Succession presents an especially piercing look behind the curtain of this elite, influential, and cutthroat community.
Post Production Of Succession Season 3 Started
Lucy Prebble, who just won the 2019 Wellcome Screenwriting Fellowship, serves as the writer and co-executive producer for Succession. And as she revealed, that the writing work for the third season of the show has already begun. Prebble and her fellow succession writers are working to bring out another fantastic story for the fans of the show. Not just this, she also stated that the filming work for the next season would commence in spring to have the premiere in summer.
Discussing the inside talks of the writer room, Prebble stated as “The writers’ room is very democratic. We look at, and re-write, each other’s work, and the final scripts go to creator Jessie Armstrong, who does a final pass. Like a lot of U.S. TV, it’s very democratic.”
Also, when asked about the plot details, Prebble made very clear that its just the early days in terms of the storyline. However, she added that one of the problematic things about the show is that they never want it to be too on the nose about what is happening now in the world. As she stated, “You want the emotional aspect of it to be true but not too parallel to what’s happening today. There are a lot of conversations about what the season two ending means for that particular relationship [Logan and Kendall Roy].”
Succession Season 3: Roman- A card For Logan Roy
In an interview, Brian Cox, who plays Logan on the show, discussed the possible future of the series. And according to him, Roman remains the X-factor in Succession on whom the whole story could turn. As he has come of age, he has a much better idea of who is manipulating whom and why. Cox said that they have Roman to look forward to the next season.
