The story of the show follows the return of James Delaney to England after twelve years with fourteen looted diamonds. He returns after his father’s death, and the war with the US is almost over. After the inaugural season finale, Delaney and his allies will move towards the west to Ponta Delgada in the Azores. In Taboo Season 2, they will be desperately looking to reach the Intelligence agent of the US, Colonnade. James will also get a more in-depth perspective of his late mother’s original American Heritage in the upcoming season.
In the second season of Taboo, the fans will get to see the mystery behind James’ tattoo. The creators will also explain the logic behind his encounter with the East India Company. In Taboo Season 2, James and his allies will continue to explore the coasts of America. And he could possibly stake his right to the Nootka Sound area.
