What Has Happened So Far?
The Curse of Oak Island Season 8 has been an interesting journey so far. The eleventh episode of the series sees Gary Drayton, as he had discovered ‘gold.’ However, then Laird burst his bubble and told him that it was nothing but gold paint. Viewers know that there are a number of artifacts that Oak Island has hidden in its chest. Could this gold-painted coin be a part of the treasure chest?
Another thing, the team found a connection between the swamp and the mound. There are a number of mysteries that are still hidden in Oak Island that the team does not know about. That does not mean that the team’s determination is any less.
Lagina brothers and the whole team believe that there are a number of activities that have happened on the island. From Knight Templar’s theory to British industrialists, Chinese people from 900 AD to French and Spanish calvary burying treasure somewhere. They think that basically everyone who was alive before the 1900s had something to do with the island. These theories became even more intense when Erin Helton seems to have fuelled these theories.
In the first episodes of the series, Helton left all the team members quite speechless with her interpretation of Zena Halpern’s map. According to her, the boulders were strategically placed and pointed towards something. She was even sure that the treasure vault was under their noses all this time and they have been digging in the wrong area. Erin says that they must not dig the money pit area. She says that the spot isn’t a tunnel. So, the team told her that they have faith in the theory but there are a number of things they think must be re-assed.

History Tv recently released the synopsis for The Curse of Oak Island Season 8 Episode 12. The synopsis reveals that the upcoming episode 12, Digging Their Heels will see that Lagina Brothers and the team will continue to search the excavated spoils from Money Pitt in Oak Island. Alex Lagina will also discover something that looks like human activities that date back to around 1492. What discoveries would that lead to? We will have to wait and watch.
