However, Amazon Prime just put a halt on all of the rumors and, just yesterday, dropped the trailer for the fourth run of The Expanse.
Syfy initially owned The Expanse. However, after incredible three runs of the series, the show got canceled by the network for its fourth run. Various online petitions and campaigns came up for the revival of The Expanse Season 4. And finally, Amazon Prime came in as the knight in shining armor and renewed the show for its fourth, as well as fifth run.

The Expanse Season 4: Trailer Out Now

The full-length trailer for the upcoming season of The Expanse has arrived. And the trailer featured James Holden along with the crew of Rocinante wandering at the new planet, Ilus. Belter refugees inhabit that new planet. However, as the trailer showed, that planet is filled with various kinds of dangerous things, which is still unknown for the crew. The massive storms filled with Protomolecule technology are continually attacking the planet.
The trailer also introduced Burn Gorman as Adolphus Murtry. When Jim takes up all the responsibilities of opening the gate, Adolphus responds, “We all answer for what we’ve done.”

The Expanse Season 4: Plot Details

Season 4 of The Expanse will feature the team of Rocinante on a new adventure in a new galaxy. Also, the tension between Earth, Mars, and the Belt have increased because of the discoveries of the new planet. The official synopsis for Season 4 has also released. According to that, the Ring Gates opened up for the thousands of new worlds. And conflicts between Earth, Mars, and the Belt will also rise. Meanwhile, the crew of Rocinante gets involved in a dispute with the Earth mining corporation and Belter settlers.

This season, the show will bring some new faces to the audience. Keon Alexander has joined Season 4 as a cunning and charismatic Belter leader and Jess Salgueiro as a sarcastic corporate security officer. Meanwhile, as showed in the trailer, Burn Gorman will feature as Adolphus Murtry, the security chief. Along with them, the regular cast is set to return for the fourth season. Writing For The Expanse Season 5 Started

Just a while ago, news surfaced that the production for the next run of The Expanse has already been commenced. On Twitter, director Breck Eisner has posted some behind-the-scenes clips from the fifth run of The Expanse. He has shared a handful of videos from the set, which highlight the elaborate camerawork. The video also included the counterintuitive filming techniques used to simulate zero gravity, combining relative motion, blue screen backgrounds, and movable sets to depict Captain James Holden (Steven Strait) approaching an airlock.

The streaming service renewed the show for its fifth run back in July, even before the premiere of the fourth season.

The Expanse Season 4: Release Date
