The Flash Season 7: C.W.’s crossover of Arrow and The flash has made the viewers asking for more. Although The Flash had hit our T.V. screens back in 2014, since then, it has been a fan-favorite. Moreover, the show was The C.W.’s most-watched and highest-rated series premiere since 2019. The series is the adaptation of the D.C. Comics character Barry Allen. He’s the one called the costumed superhero The Flash.

The show has successfully finished its five-season, and the sixth is currently airing. And now the talks for The Flash Season 7 have begun. And while season six isn’t due to conclude until May. The streaming service had already renewed the upcoming season of The Flash in January.

What Can We Expect From The Flash Season 7? 

If rumors are to be believed, then we might soon witness the end of The Flash. However, it’s expected that The Flash season 7 can be the last part of the series. Although, if that happens, it will undoubtedly impact the story. During the San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Grant Gustin was asked if The Fastest Man Alive will stop running one day soon. Surprisingly, he didn’t say no, in fact, Grant said that its a possibility.

Moreover, the makers are contracted only for seven seasons. Hence, the ending for The Flash is surely near. “I’m taking that little bit more time to take it in because our show could also end shortly,” Grant told the press. However, the makers have not yet made any official statements. And if the upcoming season is the last so that viewers can expect the significant breakdown of the characters. Also, the season will finally bring everyone to their finish line.

Who Will Return From The Original Cast?

The Flash Season 7 has a diverse cast of talented actors who bring D.C. Comics to life. While the show has been pretty stable concerning retaining principal cast members, it is not immune to changes. But the upcoming season will bring at least two notable differences. Brandon McKnight joined the series in season 6. He plays the role of technological whiz Chester P. Runk. Amidst the production of the upcoming season, it’s clear that McKnight has been promoted to the status of series regular.

Moreover, Kayla Compton has also been bumped up from recurring to regular status for The Flash Season 7. Allegra Garcia is Kayla’s character’s name. He’s a metahuman with family issues who can control the electromagnetic spectrum. However, there’s no confirmation about who is leaving the show. Hence, we can expect Grant Gustin to reprise his role as Barry Allen, aka, The Flash. Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker are also returning for The Flash Season 7. Along with them, Carlos Valdes will return as Cisco Ramon with Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton. And Hartley Sawyer may also reprise his role as P.I. Ralph Dibney, along with LaMonica Garrett and Efrat Dor as Eva McCulloch.

The Flash Season 7 Release Date

C.W. has not yet given any official release date for the upcoming season. But if we notice the pattern of the six seasons, then we can expect The Flash Season 7 to release in early October. Moreover, the previous six seasons have premiered somewhere between October 4-10. And the same is expected from season 7. Additionally, the forthcoming season is under pre-production. Hence, this means that the making of The Flash Season 7 is not yet started. Till the viewers can enjoy the sixth season of The Flash on C.W. at 8 pm.
