The official synopsis for the upcoming season calls June a fierce rebel leader and warns that she will be tackling unexpected dangers and go on a new quest for justice and revenge that threatens to consume her and destroy some of her most cherished relationships. The poster for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 is out too-

What More Is Coming Up On The Show?

There is a lot that will happen on The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4. When the show comes back, June will have to face the repercussions of what she did. Would she be saved? We will have to wait to know. June has indeed become the most powerful rebel in the country, and it is yet to be seen what is coming up for her.

Next is Nick, who was missing from the second half of the third season. However, he will be back in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4, and it looks like there will be a reunion for both Nick and June. Not just that, our favorite guardian will be sent to Chicago in the next season.

Spoilers also suggest that the next season will see a war between June and Aunt Lydia. There has been understated tension between these two powerhouses for seasons now, and with June becoming a wanted fugitive, Aunt Lydia’s fury will break all bounds, and the two of them will be in a battle no one has ever seen.

Creators also reveal that The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 will witness a lot of payoffs. This will be the season where the creators will deliver all the things they have set up until now. In an interview, Bruce Miller, the creator of the show, says that in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4, they aren’t waiting around. It is the season where shit happens. There will be a lot happening, and it will only make the show more interesting.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Will Be More Nomadic

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 will be more nomadic. The previous three seasons had one core Gilead setting, and all the action revolved around that setting. The first and the second season had their main setting in the Waterford house and the third season saw Commander Lawrence’s house taking up the main setting.

However, in the next season, with June and many other handmaids liberated, the show will have a nomadic feel. Miller says that they are following June’s drive, passion, pursuit for change, and everything that it takes them. Now they are all out on the road, and there is no home base. Until now, the seasons were deliberately claustrophobic, but the upcoming season will be exactly the opposite.
