When Will The Production Start?
Mike Flanagan the creator of The Haunting series has confirmed that the third season for the series isn’t in the works right now. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he admitted that while the series hasn’t yet gone into works right now, there are more of The Haunting stories that they want to tell.
Flanagan went on to say that the ghost is an impact from the past on the present in almost all ghost stories. These stories change the course of what the person has been experiencing from their past. These horror stories are a link between memory and the ghosts. He went on to say that between the ghost and the past, there is a lifeblood of the show.
Continuing to that, Flanagan says that there is no shortage of ghosts in the world for everyone. So, if he and the team are able to find a common language where everyone can talk, then that is something they aspire to do. They want to do that in all the seasons after if things go right. This is a clear hint that the creator aspires to bring more of the story. So, we can all be hopeful.
The Haunting of Bly Manor Star Hints What Could Come Up Next!
Actor Oliver Jackson-Cohen who plays Peter Quint on the show recently hinted what could come next. While he said that nothing is concrete in terms of another ghost anthology series, he is sure that the cast will collaborate with creator Flanagan again.
He says that if Bly Manor does good on Netflix, there will be conversations for more. But then it is all dependent on Mike and what he wants to do. If he wants to do it, they will all collaborate with him again. But then nothing is quite confirmed as of now.
Kate Siegel, who plays The Lady in The Haunting of Bly Manor is married to Flanagan. She added that she could not reveal what is happening. However, she said that the filmmaker has some new ideas for The Haunting of Bly Manor Season 3.
Joking about what she wants for the upcoming season she says, that she is consistently asking for The Haunting of the Four Seasons Hawaii. So, if she gets her way, she will be playing a woman who is getting massages at the Four Seasons Hawaii.
When Would We Get To See The Haunting of Bly Manor Season 3?
For all fans who are waiting for The Haunting of Bly Manor Season 3, we must tell you that it will be a long time before we get to see the next season of the series. But fans can take comfort knowing that Marcy and Flanagan are working on another work for Netflix. This project is titled- “Midnight Mass.” The two mean had signed an overall deal with Netflix in 2019 and “Midnight Mass” is the first original show coming out of that deal.
After that Flanagan will have his hands full with another project- ‘Revival.’ It is an adaption of Stephan King’s novel with the same name. So, Flanagan will be busy with first the ‘Midnight Mass’ followed by ‘Revival’. Hence, we can assume The Haunting of Bly Manor Season 3 will be delayed more than the usual two-year gap.
