Its been quite a while since the audience had the first season of The Night Manager. The viewer and the critics have loved Tom Hiddleston’s small screen surprise. And since then, they are waiting for its next installment, The Night Manager Season 2. The BBC and AMC have commissioned the second series.

Although writer Charles Cumming made it very clear that some characters would return in the second season, while some will not. So, some of the leads from season one will return.
David Farr Not Returning For The Night Manager Season 2
As the new writing team suggested, the main screenwriter of The Night Manager, David Farr is not set to return for the next season. He is occupied with the action-drama series Hanna, which is currently in work. Also, original director Susanne Bier also won’t return for the next season. That is because she has decided to let another talent take the reins as she fears that she wouldn’t do her very best work the second time around.
Writers Room For The Night Manager Season 2
It looks like the crew has started working on the second installment for long. Lately, in 2017, the broadcasters stated that a second season was in the early stages of development. And in 2018, a herd of significant writers was set to write down the second season. Operation Finale screenwriter Matthew Orton, British spy novelist Charles Cumming, Humans writer Namsi Khan, and Killing Eve executive producer Francesca Gardiner had summoned to start working on possible plots for the second season of The Night Manager. Though, there has not been any update on the second season since then.
The Night Manager Season 2: Plot Details
Despite having a stand-alone novel by author John Le Carre, the show is working for its second season. As mentioned by Charles Cumming, the author has never allowed adaptations of his stories to have a sequel not based on one of his books. Although Le Cerre has allowed working for the second season. Also, the plot of the upcoming season is subjected to full secrecy. Therefore, there is no idea what the second season of The Night Manger will bring.
Meanwhile, the writers have confirmed that the second season will be entirely faithful to the world created by Le Carre. Not just this, they will also try their best to achieve and surpass the status and level of the debut season.
