Good news for the fans of The Outpost, CW has recently renewed its fantasy-adventure series for its next run, The Outpost Season 3. The renewal announcement took place at MIPCOM. Along with the renewal news, it was revealed that the upcoming season of the series is slated for next year.
Created by Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, the Outpost follows Talon (Jessica Green), the only survivor of the Blackbloods. As a child, she saw a ruthless mercenary gang that slaughtered her entire village. Therefore, alongside new allies and the Queen, she fights against a fanatical religious dictator. For that, she needs to master her mysterious powers to make sure she and her team survive the battle.
The second season of fantasy drama recently wrapped up, on September 26, 2019. The audience loved the sophomore run of the series. However, it also saw a decrease in both ratings and viewership. Despite that, the network renewed the show for its third run, by noticing its popularity and follower-ship.

Cast Returning For The Outpost Season 3
As per the reports, the entire core cast of the series will surely return for the next run of The Outpost. Followed by the lead in Jessica Green as Talon, the third season will feature Imogen Waterhouse as Lady Gwynn Calkussar, Jake Stormoen as Captain Garret Spears, Anand Desai-Barochia as Janzo, and Robyn Malcolm as The Mistress. Season 3 will also have Adam Johnson, Andrew Howard, Aaron Fontaine, Philip Brodie, Amita Suman, and Charan Prabhakar. Meanwhile, some new faces would also pop-up in the upcoming run. However, there has not been any update related to new casting for The Outpost Season 3 yet.
The Outpost Season 3: Plot Details
The upcoming season of The Outpost will pick up where the previous season has left off. The finale of the second season saw the Prime Order making their way to the compound, ready to attack with full power. Also, Naya (Amita Suman) got imprisoned for her crimes as Janzo continues to come to her defense. And the Mistress (Robyn Malcolm) brings together some essential pieces of Janzo’s history. However, Talon risks everything with a bold plan to fight back the Prime Order. Now it all depends on Talon to assure the Outpost would never fall.
In the third season, Talon, along with Gwynn (Waterhouse), will be ready to the face and fight the Prime Order.
The Outpost Season 3: Release Date
The second season of The Outpost packed up at the end of September 2019 only. Therefore, the audience needs to wait for long for the new season to arrive. The Outpost season 3 will likely come in Summer 2020. Till then, stay tuned for further updates on The Outpost Season 3.
