The Rain Season 4 might focus on Simone and her evolution as the true leader. She has been a motherly figure for the entire three seasons. That is maybe because she had the task to take care of her younger brother. He has quite well established that he needs guidance. However, now that most of the main characters are already dead. So, Simone will naturally become the main focus of the narrative for the show. And who knows, she might become the hardened warrior in the show.
If Rain Season 4 does happen, it is possible that the show would draw some influence from the ongoing COVID situation. It would be a great way to reinforce Simone’s humanity. Viewers might also get to see how Penny navigates through the world after losing her loved ones.
