This Is Us Season 5: NBC’s comedy-drama series This Is Us just concluded with its fourth installment. The installment left fans wanting for more. In fact, fans are already and very eagerly aking for more. The show that first premiered in 2016 has become a hit. The series has various nominations, including Best Television series- Drama at 74th Golden Globe Awards, and Best Drama Series at the Critic’s choice award.
The series follows siblings Kate, Kevin, and Randall and their parents, Jack and Rebecca. The show uses both present and flashbacks to tell the story. Kevin and Kate are the two members who survived the triplet pregnancy. Their third sibling is stillborn. Believing that they were destined to have three kids, Jack and Rebecca decide and adopt Randall. Jack dies when the kids turn 17, and Rebecca later marries his best friend, Miguel.

What Will Happen In This Is Us Season 5?
The main theme of This Is Us Season 5 will be rebirth. Fogelman recently revealed that the upcoming installment of the show would be about new beginnings and uplifting moments. In an interview, he said that he is very excited about this storyline. He is even more excited because of the place this world is right now. What is coming in the fifth season, he would call it a rebirth, he said.
Along with that, the future of Randall and Beth’s kids will be a part of the storyline too. For those who want to see more of these kids, Fogelman says that they have that covered. In the same interview, the producer revealed that they have a plan for all of that. This storyline will ask viewers to really think about all the characters and the reason for their existence. The same will happen to Jack Jr. and Hailey. They have become part of the picture recently. Their future will be a part of the story too.
In addition to that, fans will get to know more about Rebecca and Miguel too. In the fifth season, Rebecca will head towards St. Louis. She is going there for Alzheimer’s clinical trial that will happen at Washington University. Fogelman has hinted that this will let them have more scenes with Rebecca and Miguel, allowing them to dig deep in the past. The installment will also explore more of their relationship. Viewers will come to know what happened after Miguel texted Rebecca on Facebook 10 years after Jack’s death.
Is This The Last Season
Fortunately No! This isn’t the last season of the series. Last year NBC had renewed the show for a fourth, fifth and sixth season. That means we will have another set of episodes after this season. The producer of how Dan Fogelman said that they are allowing the writers to map out the stories, and that is the way Pearson’s story will come to a close. With that said, there are possibilities that the network channel may renew the show for more sets of episodes.
This Is Us Season 5: When Is It Releasing?
The previous four seasons of the series have premiered in September. So, everybody had expected that the installment surfaces in September. However, this time there is a possibility that the show might not be able to come back. One of the main reasons for it is the coronavirus pandemic.
