Netflix’s policy of reviving other channel’s shows is working out best for it and the audience too. The arrival of the third season of British Crime Drama, Top Boy on Netflix brought in a lot of success and popularity for the show and the streaming service too. And just after watching the entire season in a go, fans started asking about its next incoming, Top Boy Season 4.
Created by Ronan Bennett and directed by Yann Demange and Jonathan van Tulleken, Top Boy is a British television crime drama series which first debuted on Channel 4. However, after two successful runs, the network canceled the show in 2014. Then in 2017, with the involvement of Canadian rapper Drake, Netflix picked up the show for another ten episodes, with both Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson reprising their roles.

When Netflix picked up the series from Channel 4, news came in that the show will return not for just the third season, but Season 4 too. Show-runner Ronan Bennett also discussed how the third season went, and what will likely happen in the upcoming season. When asked about Top Boy Season 3, which just landed in September, he stated that the new season is brilliant. Also, the audience can expect more of the same for season four, with enough added twists and surprises to keep things interesting, Bennett said.

Being a fresh incoming for the US fans, the third season of Top Boy flashed like a fire on Netflix. The audience loved the show, and they ultimately declared it as the best series ever. Top Boy Season 4: Cast Additions
As per the cliffhanger on which the third season left, it’s pretty sure that Ashley Walters (Dushane), Kane ‘Kano’ Robinson (Sully) and Micheal Ward (Jamie) will all be back. Also, Ashley Thomas (Jermaine), Simbi ‘Little Simz’ Ajikawo (Shelley), David ‘Dave’ Omoregie (Modie), Kadeem Ramsay (Kit), Lisa Dwan (Lizzie) and Saffron Hocking (Lauryn) will return too.
Drake was one of the most significant reasons for the revival of the show on Netflix. At that time, speculations spread that he will likely feature for a cameo in the third season of Top Boy. That did not happen in season 3. However, maybe on the audience demand, he will likely show off a glimpse in Top Boy Season 4.
