Maeve Millay star Thandiwe Newton while responding to fan art, shared that they have returned to work on Westworld Season 4. Thandiwe explained in the latest British Vogue issue how her name “Thandiwe” had been misspelled as “Thandie” in her first film. It soon took as the storm and fans began supporting her in this journey.

Inspired by the 1973 film, Westworld follows a fictional amusement park colonized by android hosts. The park offers the high-paying guests to fulfill their wildest fantasies without fear of revenge from the hosts. Since the show aired back in 2016, it received positive praise for its visuals, themes, and narrative. Even the series received several Primetime Emmy nominations and added nine awards on its cards.

Westworld Season 4: Has Production Begun For The Next Run?

Recently, Comicbook.com broke the news that Westworld star Thandiwe Newton finally got “w” back in her spelling. She said it’s her name, and it has always been that way, and now she’s “taking back what’s” her. Soon a Westworld fan paid tribute to her decision by adding the Westworld logo in her name. Shortly Newton re-shared the image on her Instagram, sharing how it felt to see “w” back in its place in such a lovable form while teasing that filming for the fourth season has just begun.

Although the network has yet to announce the fourth season’s official cast details, yet we can assume that the last season’s main cast would return. Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores would return with Thandiwe Newton as Maeve Millay. Besides her, Ed Harris as the Man in Black, Tessa Thompson as Charlotte Hale, and Angela Sarafyan as Clementine Pennyfeather will return. Simon Quarterman as Lee Sizemore will return with Luke Hemsworth as Ashley Stubbs and Jeffrey Wright as Bernard Lowe.

Newton has recently teased what to expect from the upcoming season. The last season’s finale saw some main characters dying and a vast conflict between Maeve and Hale. On which Newton said that something would definitely happen between the two in the upcoming season. Newton added that she’s just a fan of Hale, and it’s fascinating to watch Hale as an extension of Dolores. However, Newton hadn’t revealed what the upcoming season planned for us.

Ed Harris Would Play A Huge Part

Meanwhile, series showrunner Jonathan Nolan teased the big plan for The Man in Black in the upcoming season. Nolan shared that the next batch of episodes would see The Man in Black killing everyone. Since he has been controlling himself for so long and now is the time when everything would backfire. During The Paley Center for Media, Harris also said that he has no idea what Nolan has planned for him. However, he would team up with Hale in the upcoming season. So it could be a sign that they would damage something big in the next outing.

Westworld Season 4: When Will It Release?

As of now, there’s no official release date announced for the fourth season. Since its debut in 2016, the second season took two years, and the same was the case with the third season.
