There was no doubt about the future of Wynonna Earp Season 4. The comic series based supernatural horror television was renewed long ago in July 2018. Since then, fans were waiting for updates on the upcoming season. Now here’s finally an official announcement which will bring a sigh of rest on the fans’ faces.
The battle with revenants and other supernatural beings is highly adored among fans. More, they loved the combination of sisters, spells, curses, and also Wyatt Earp. Now they wonder what the upcoming season will bring for them?
Wynonna Earp Season 4: Production Began!
The third season of the series was released in July 2018. Fans wanted to know the whereabouts of the next season because it was renewed for a while. Surprise! The cast also shared the joy of once again returning to the set. They also posted their experiences on Twitter. However, it is not clear when the shooting will wrap as it recently started, but it is undoubtedly a moment of joy for the fans and also the showrunners.
Delayed For Financial Inadequacy?
News broke in 2019 that Wynonna Earp is dealing with a financial crisis which may lead the series to die at an uncertain point. The creators appealed the fans to start a campaign as #fightforwynonna. Finally, the funds were collected, and the series was saved from premature death.
The writer of the series, Andras, shared that it was the darkest of times for them. It was like a patient was on an operation table, and their family was told they might lose her. Andras also said that she only wanted to narrate a demon-slaying tale. Coming across bad times, it seems that the series is the real fighter. Hope that it will once again win the hearts of millions and billions of fans.
The Story So Far!
The premises of the story is set around Wynonna Earp, the great-great-granddaughter of a lawman, Wyatt Earp. She has a difficult task to do. Due to the family curse, she needs to rid off the demons from the small town. The town is named as Purgatory. Wynonna got a unique power to send back the evil to Hell.
However, it is not that easy. Her struggle has to go through various phases, like the kidnapping of her older sister and pregnancy. The compelling story sometimes features an emotional touch also. It would be interesting to watch what’s cooking for the next season.

Along with new life, the series has gotten a new cast also. There are two cast new cast members, namely Andrew Phung and Martina Ortiz-Luis. They also shared their joy of joining the show. However, their role is still under the veil. There is no news of cast departure. Thus, it is expected that the old cast will return with the new season.
