Yellowstone turned out to be a gold mine for Paramount Network. The studio made no delay and had renewed the series for Yellowstone Season 2. The news came in even before the premiere of Season 1 Finale. Renewal of the series, halfway through the first season, surely depicts the performance of the series.

Yellowstone Season 2 got renewed on July 24, 2018. However, the finale of Season 1 aired on August 22, 2018. The intense thriller drama based series performed exceptionally well, attaining 5.3 million viewers. It became one of the most successful scripted drama miniseries by Paramount.
Yellowstone Season 2 – Neal McDonough Is Coming
Yellowstone consist of a very heavily studded cast. However, Deadline has reported that Neal McDonough is going to join the cast for Yellowstone Season 2. McDonough will do a recurring role in the second installment of the series.
McDonough is going to characterize as a villain (obviously!). He will portray the character of Malcolm Beck. Malcolm Beck is a prosperous business lord who commands an area casino with his brother, Teal. They are potent opponents, down and dirty fighters who know how to work the system to get what they want.
Introduction of Malcolm in the scenario will undoubtedly raise the intensity of conflicts. It will increase the threats and problems Dutton family is already facing. John dealing with another powerful enemy will be an exciting plot to watch.
Rest Of The Cast Of Yellowstone Season 2
The whole Dutton family will continue to appear in the Season 2. Kevin Costner as John Dutton will lead the family. Along with him, Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton, Dave Annable as Lee Dutton, Wes Bentley as Jaime Dutton, Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler, Kelsey Asbille as Monica Dutton, Jefferson White as Jimmy Hurdstrom, and Danny Huston as Dan Jenkins will also join the cast of Yellowstone Season 2.

The official Facebook account for Yellowstone has released a teaser for the second installment of the series. In this teaser, we can see someone riding on horseback into the ranch and towards the hills. This teaser is captioned as – There is more tale to tell….this season and beyond. We are reverting to the ranch in 2019.
This could be a warning for the awakening of a new character, a new hero or a new villain. Possibilities are in-numerous, and ‘predictable’ is not a likely word for Yellowstone.

Yellowstone Season 2 will also consist of 10 episodes. The network has yet not confirmed any premiere date for the second installment of the series. However, as it is established that it will release in 2019 in the teaser, it’s most likely to happen around mid-quarters’ of 2019.
