Netflix’s You has become a significant topic of conversation since You Season 2 got renewed, and the makers announce the show’s premiere date. You weave a fine line between horror and rom-com with self-confidence by proving that not all romantic prospects are what they seem.
Throughout You Season 1, the fans saw that Joe (Penn Badgley) eventually wins the promising writer Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail). He gradually eliminates several people from her life, including Shay Mitchell’s Peach Salinger, for the sake of winning her. However, when the truth catches up to Beck, there are some pretty violent consequences for the same.

You’s second Season endure Joe’s story to be drifting from New York to Los Angeles. The show writer Sera Gamble exclaimed that they are prepping to shoot You Season 2 in Los Angeles. The official Synopsis of the series says that the coming Season will find Joe on the run from his long-lost ex-girlfriend Candace. He is fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder. The last thing he will expect is to meet an incredible new woman. The fans will get to endure Joe falling in love again with a woman named Love. It will be exciting to see more psychological drama in the upcoming season.

At the fans saw at the end of Season 1, Candace turned up in the finale. The fans were expecting that Beck can probably return in the coming season. However, Lail recently confirmed in an interview that she wouldn’t be coming back in You second Season. She further backed her statement by mentioning her sadness regarding the discontinuation of her journey.

Despite Joe’s best efforts to finish everyone off, several characters were still alive by the end of Season 1. It includes Dr. Nicky, Beck’s BFFs, all of Peach’s family, Paco, and Candace, and anticipations are such that they can cause trouble for Joe. It is anticipated that Paco will reappear in You Season 2 since he gets shifted to Los Angeles at the end of Season 1. There are expectations that John Stamos, Beck’s cheating therapist, will be back. However, Gamble has not confirmed John’s arrival yet and has kept fans under the dark.

You Season 2: Major Cast Developments

There are some major casting announcements that the makers have made and have made the mind crystal clear regarding the exciting storyline of You Season 2. Star Victoria Pedretti will play the female lead. She will take over the place of Beck and will be Joe’s love interest. Pedretti will play the character of Love Quinn, a struggling chef who makes ends meet by working in a grocery store. James Scully will be another addition to You season 2 He will play the character of Love’s brother, Forty Quinn. Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega will play the role of Ellie, who is a teenager who was forced to grow up too fast.

Other new additions include comedian Chris D’Elia as Henderson and Carmela Zumbado as Delilah Alves. As per sources, another significant addition has grabbed considerable attention from the fans. Gotham’s Robin Lord Taylor has joined You Season 2. He will play the character of Will, who deals with unsavory sorts as part of his job. He is himself a thoughtful and highly intelligent guy who marches to the beat of his drummer. That is until he gets in the middle in a bad situation. It sounds as though he could put Joe in trouble.
