You Season 2: What Happened?
Before we spill the beans about what could happen in You season 3, let’s have a small recap of what happened in You season 2. By the end of season 2, everyone was pretty annoyed because come on, Beck was killed, and Joe came out as a weirdly terrifying serial killer.
In You season 2, Joe’s ex candace returns to the scene to avenge Joe just when he is starting to fall in love with Love. Joe has killed Jasper, the mafia-type guy who was trying to collect money from Will Bettleheim.
By the end of the show, Joe and pregnant Love moves into a new neighborhood leaving all of their past behind in LA. Shockingly Joe sees his neighbor through a hole in the wood panel all sun-kissed, tanning in a bikini; however, her face is covered with a sunhat. And just like that, so casually Joe’s stalking skills just make an entry, and he is back on his track. Joe’s background very clearly explains how he thinks that his destiny lies with the new neighbor.
You Season 3: What Could Happen?
The previous seasons of the series have been adapted to the novels by Caroline Kepnes’s second novel, Hidden Bodies. For season 3 same will happen. We can bet that You season 3 will surely have a backdrop of Los Angles as only by the end of season 2 the locations were switched. What we know more is that Joe will have an entirely different set of problems. Also, this season the cultural backdrop will be totally different.
Season 2 will focus a lot on Love. A lot of her story is yet untold. Along with that, Joe has had a harsh childhood. So, this season Joe will try to fill the holes from his childhood. Raising a child with Joe, changing his environment might be the right step. But what will happen when he gets flashbacks from his childhood and find his next target? We will have to wait and watch.
Is Joe’s Mom His Next Target?
The finale episode of You Season 2 left viewers with Joe starting to stack his own next-door neighbor. By the end of season 2, Fans have started speculation that the mysterious neighbor is none other than Joe’s own mother. The real identity of the mysterious woman isn’t confirmed yet. But we can with surely tell you it isn’t Joe’s mom. Badgley himself confirmed the news in an interview. However, one can say that Joe’s next target is either married or engaged as we could spot a ring on her finger.
The whole cast of the You season 3 isn’t confirmed yet, but Badgley, who plays Joe and Pedretti, who took the screen space in season 2 as Love Quinn, is coming back for sure.
