How everything is going on at General Hospital, it looks like it is about time that Sonny makes a decision. For many months now, Sonny has been torn up about Carly and Nina. And now, we can’t help but wonder how long this storyline will be stretched. Weighing in, there are many pros and cons of choosing either of them. So, what really is happening? What is Sonny’s stance on all of this? Here is what we think.
Carly V/S Nina, What’s Up?
General Hospital fans who have been keeping up with the soap know that Carly and Sonny are a legacy couple. They have been together for years and gone through so much together that we can’t even fathom it. From the mob business to the family business, they have just been together.
However, things have now started going down the hill for both of them. General Hospital viewers know that Carly came to know about Sonny and Nina’s affair from Nixon’s falls, and now she is finding it hard to accept. This has led to her pushing Sonny away. But is this the way it will always be?
As for Nina, while Sonny and Nina haven’t been together for very long, General Hospital viewers would recall that Sonny has really fallen for her. Sonny, who did not remember anything about his life and was starting afresh as “Mike,” met Nina and fell in love with her.
But, this was not one-sided. Nina reciprocated as well. So, this will all be fun and games. But then, one fine day, amidst a fire, Sonny remembered everything. And when he came back to Port Charles, he could not shake his feelings for Nina off.
Sonny’s Stance
Now, Sonny is at a crossroads. He has to figure out who he wants to go to and who will accept him. Given how distraught Carly is, it seems a little less likely that she will be able to accept Sonny so soon. It will most probably be her trying to get over this. With that said, it doesn’t look like she will let him go very easily either.
In the recent General Hospital episode, viewers saw Carly as she asked Nina to stay away from her husband. So, it is likely that she, somewhere in her heart, will be able to forgive Sonny and move on with that. Nina is anyway ready to start a family with Sonny if he allows her to. As per Tv Season & Spoilers, he might even be ready to fight for him if the need be. So, now, everything comes down to Sonny.
Some General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny has been rather distraught ever since everything came out. The mob boss has found himself at an emotional crossroads and doesn’t know where to go from there. But, if the speculations are to be believed, Sonny is ready to move forward.
It looks like he will focus on his wife Carly, and Nina is just someone who he might sideline eventually. Knowing the rules and ethics Sonny has made for himself, it is less likely that he would choose his wife over his family. But, would you like this?

Keeping in mind how fans are reacting to this, we have some very mixed opinions. While the majority of fans want GH to continue keeping Sonny and Carly together, some are looking forward to an interesting shake-up. Being the legacy couple Sonny and Carly are, fans expect them to be together, but if something changes and General Hospital chooses to bring Sonny and Nina together, it will bring some interesting storylines.
