For months, both of them were in a safe house being protected from Cyrus Renault. However, very recently, Laura decided that she couldn’t live away from her family and town anymore and wanted to come back. So, after some security checks, both Laura and Martin returned to Port Charles.
When the two of them came back, Kevin could no longer stay away from his wife. So, he gave up his Santa duty at the annual Christmas story reading to go straight to his wife. There, Martin Grey stepped up and came in as the Santa Claus to read the children at the hospital the story. This was when some very weird storyline rolled out. GH viewers would know, Lucy was unaware that Santa had been switched, and she got closer to Martin Grey.

Lucy was too happy with the whole Christmas thing going on, and she ended up on Santa’s lap. While this could have been playful banter, she did not know that the Santa was not Kevin but Martin.
One thing led to the other, and Martin and Lucy went out on dinner after the reading. Sparks flew, and the two of them ended up sleeping together. Things got even more interesting when the next morning, Lucy assumed that Martin would leave. However, Martin told her that he had all intentions to see her again. So, looking at how things are going on between them, it is likely that the two of them might start seeing each other this 2022.
