It is the time for all the happy vibes and celebrations for General Hospital star Josh Swickard. Josh, who plays the character of Harrison Chase on General Hospital, recently announced that he and his wife, Lauren Swickard, are expecting their first child. The couple took onto their Instagram to announce the big news.
This February 16, the actor posted a picture of himself and his wife Lauren. The two of them beamed holding a positive pregnancy test. Josh is on his knees, planting a kiss on his spouse’s tummy. He captioned the photo with #GIRLDAD and revealed that they are very excited for this next chapter of their life.
Lauren revealed that she had originally told Josh this good news by wrapping the positive pregnancy test in a dad wrap. The couple has been able to keep the news a secret quite successfully. Josh had anyways been very active throughout Lauren’s pregnancy. The couple is thrilled as they look forward to becoming new parents. All the friends and family of the couple were left surprised and congratulated the two of them for this good news.
General Hospital: When Is The Due Date?
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Lauren, who recently starred with her husband in the Netflix series- A California Christmas, says that they only have about six weeks left until her due date. She says that they have been keeping this little secret for the last eight months. They were expecting the baby when they were shooting for California Christmas. Interjecting in between Josh revealed that this pregnancy happened when they were filming the California Christmas. Smiling widely, Josh says that he is seeing his wife in a new way. And, he is obsessed with everything that has happened so far.
The Couple Will Soon Start Working On Another Project
The couple will collaborate on another project soon. Lauren suggests that just three months after Lauren delivers the baby, the two of them will get back to working on the sequel of their hit Netflix movie, A California Christmas. Lauren teased that there might be a baby at the end of the sequel movie. A California Christmas that released on Netflix in December 2020 made it to their top ten and stayed there for some time. This was an unexpected hit. Now, Netflix has ordered a sequel to the movie- California Christmas: City Lights.
The whole original team for the movie will come back. This includes Lauren, who was the writer for the script of the second season. Shaun Piccinino will also come back to reprise his role as the director of the series. Daniel Aspromonte will be the producer. Ali Afshar and David Del Rio will come back for the sequel.
