General Hospital: Why Do Fans Want GH To Fire Nancy Lee Grahn?

General Hospital fans who have been keeping up with the updates would know, things are heating up for GH actors on-screen as well as off-screen. In fact, if we were to be asked, we’d say there is so much more drama happening off-screen that it is near exploding. All of this is because many General Hospital actors have been making headlines lately. General Hospital recently made the COVID-19 vaccine mandatory on the sets.

After this, they had to let go of two major actors- Ingo Rademacher and Steve Burton. The two of them were not ready to get vaccinated because of various reasons. So, that has shaken everything up. All the fans of the stars have been very vocal about their displeasure regarding this firing. While the fans are angry with the General Hospital core team, it looks like there is some heat for another actress on the soap. Many GH fans hope and want Nancy Lee Grahn to be let go from the soap. Soapsspoilers.com reports that Lee Grahn had apparently taken upon herself to announce Ingo Rademacher’s exit from the soap. It was even before General Hospital producers had made that official. Not only that, recently, when Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) took onto Twitter to tell everyone that she will miss having Steve Burton around, Nancy had to say something about it. Hennesy had said, “Politics absolutely aside from anything (because it’s not about that at the moment, it’s about loss,) he’s a kind, smart, funny, caring human who always made me feel terrific as an actor and friend.”

To this, Nancy very bluntly replied that all of this actually has something to do with the loss. She said that there were 5.6 million losses. She was referring to all the people who have died because of the pandemic. All of this has got her some heat from the fans. Many GH fans have been asking the producers to fire Alexis-portrayer.

Many fans feel that Nancy Lee Grahn is taking things too far and commenting on stuff she shouldn’t. This has displeased a number of fans.
