Alex Baskin, the producer of the show, teased about the upcoming  Vanderpump Rules reboot. He said, “It has a lot of the hallmarks of the original but feels completely different.” Alex said his show is not losing its core concept, as it follows a close group of coworkers and friends at SUR. He said the new cast is the “2025 version,” with fresh dynamics and personalities.

Lisa Vanderpump, the queen of Vanderpump Rules, opened about the reboot as “It’s a new era with a whole new cast, but the drama is very much alive.” Alex, adding to the news, said that this time the relationships are more complicated, involving a lot of dating, hook-ups, and more. Although they haven’t announced the premiere date for season 12, Alex assured fans it’s “not too far away.”

Alex admitted that “It sometimes can be a challenge to film while the reunion is airing”. In addition, Alex praised Kristen Doute, 42, who got engaged to Luke Broderick, 33, during season two and welcomed her first child after filming ended.
