90 Day Fiance: Background On Leida’s Previous Brushes With Trouble

By now, many fans know that Leida has a past filled with trouble. Many years of conflict, both on and off television, have led to her being in her current position. In early 2025, she accused her husband, Eric Rosenbrook, of physical abuse. She posted a photo of a bruise above her eye and claimed she would not stay silent anymore. Eric responded by saying her version was incomplete, and the incident reignited long-standing concerns about their volatile relationship.

This was not the first time Leida had been arrested. In 2023, Leida was taken into custody for stealing and wire fraud after allegedly taking thousands from her employer. At the time, she was working as a part-time bookkeeper. She was accused of manipulating accounts and withdrawing money. As per reports, some of the charges were dropped in late 2024, but she still faced active cases that were tied to fraud, theft, and bail jumping.

90 Day Fiance: Leida’s Latest Charges and Fans’ Strong Reactions

90 Day Fiance fans got to know in September that Leida was charged with two counts of Identity Theft to Obtain Money or Credit. According to the official documents by Juneau County court, she could face up to six years in jail. This also includes fines up to $10,000. The conditions of her bail included not possessing anyone else’s identification and not performing fiduciary duties. Despite this, she requested the court to remove the second restriction, but the judge ultimately denied it.

A clerk then told her to speak with her attorney and reminded her that the court had already approved her Zoom request. She reportedly became upset and hung up the phone. The court set her preliminary hearing for December 8. The allegations involve fraudulent transactions made between September and October 2023. Investigators found papers with routing numbers in her backpack and linked her to unauthorized payments made to a trucking business connected to her and Eric.

Additional victims also reported fraudulent charges. Fans on Reddit did not hold back and chimed in with their thoughts online. Many people questioned why she never fully addressed her past controversies, including accusations surrounding her child’s death. Others expressed shock that authorities have not deported her. Some argued she will likely receive probation, while others insisted that everything she does seems calculated to avoid consequences.
