Dragon Ball Super Season 2: The Reasons For Delay
One of the main reasons behind the delay for the anime is that TOEI Production does not want to rush the animation this time. There were a lot of complaints in the previous season th at the animation in some episodes is below standard level, and this time, TOEI does not want to repeat this mistake.
Another possible reason is that the anime is currently running out of source material. The creators are publishing only one chapter in a month. There are only 58 chapters released, and the story is still incomplete. Therefore the anime series has to wait for a little more so that it can get enough source material for the second season.
The recently released Dragon Ball: Broly is also the reason behind the delay of Dragon Ball Super Season2. Since the staff gets shifted to animate the movie, hence, the anime series has to go on a break.
The main reason behind the delay is the production of One Piece: Stampede. This popular anime series is also a part of TOEI Animation. Therefore the experienced staff is currently busy with its production, which results in a delay for the second season.
Dragon Ball Super Season 2: Plot Details
The second season of this anime series will feature the strongest protagonist of all time. It will feature a vicious Moro who gets his energy by eating the planet. He can steal the chi of anyone and can add it to his for increasing his energy. He was only defeated once by the two Supreme Kai who was working together. However, they also won’t be able to finish him. There is still an ongoing arc in the manga series. And the creators might want to finish it before starting the anime.
When Will It Release?
As we mentioned above about the manga of this series is still running, and the production house is currently busy with some other projects. It is difficult to expect that the series will follow its pattern and release in July. However, the creators might release Dragon Ball Super Season 2 in 2021 after the completion of the manga series.
